Confused about SR Calculations

My birthday is 12/12/46, 7:50 PM, Bronx, NY. I used a program called Solar Fire to calculate my solar return for 2008. It showed a rising sign of 14 Degrees 3 seconds Sag.

I ordered a SA with an interpretation from an online service and they calculated a rising sign of 17 degrees 11 seconds Leo. Both charts used the same time, date and place: Dec 11 2008, 8:53:43 PM, EST +5:00, New York, NY 40N43 074E00.

Out of curiosity, I created a natal chart in Solar Fire using this date, time and place and it returned Leo rising. All three charts used Placidus houses. Solar Fire used Geocentric, Tropical and True Node.

Can someone please tell me what's going on?

I worked your chart on Astrowin and got LEO 17. It is also 17 degrees Leo on Astro.com.
I am not sure what to tell you about solar fire.

Maybe Solar Fire has changed to the new Daylight time already? We have had something similar happening last year I seem to remember.

I think Astro.com does switch for Daylight. I had to change my calculations for Astro.win

A one hour change wouldn't move the rising from Sag to Leo.

I'm going to contact Solar Fire about it. The odd thing is that the Solar Fire, sag rising chart has saturn in virgo in the tenth opposite uranus in pisces in the fourth and there have been big problems involving pisces-related things and activities in my home, and attempts to solve these and even non-pisces home-based problems have been setback by constant delays. I'll report back on what the people at Solar Fire say.

Dum, duh, dum, dumb. I figured out the problem. I typed in east instead of west longitude for my current location when calculating the chart in Solar Fire. Sorry about overlooking this. And thanks again for everyone one's help.
