This is the lunar return chart (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/vbimghost.php?do=displayimg&imgid=1179) for my college graduation, coming up soon.

I was looking at it and I thought it was pretty interesting, so I wanted to share what I found, and see what you guys thought.

1. A full moon in the chart! The full moon occurred a few hours before the return went exact, and being a lunar return, it occurred in the house of my natal moon--9th of higher education. So I read on here about how a full moon in a return can be like the completion of something--well, graduation!

2. The Leo MC is 8 degrees away from the solar return AC...not sure if that's significant, but, there it is.

3. The Jupiter/Neptune conjunction. Jupiter rules my 9th house of higher education, and the fourth away from that house is the 12th...and I think that would make the 12th the "end of the matter" of the 9th, then, if I'm not mistaken? My 12th house is ruled by Neptune (using modern rulerships, of course). So the end-of-college ruler is conjuncting the college ruler, which I thought was cute.
This occurs 0.22 degrees away from the LR's 4th house cusp. I figure that's probably significant, but I'm not quite sure how. (Of course that could be viewed as opposing the MC, which seems not as nice.)

4. Transiting venus is conjunct natal mars. Not really sure if that has any significance, but I noticed it.

So yeah! I just thought it was interesting, so I wanted to share it and see what everyone thought--or if anyone else had interesting LR's before their graduations.

I feel confused. Are we looking at the right chart? The chart with bi-wheel is your lunar and natal right?
The lunar should be on the outside. And it looks like the moon is in your 2nd lunar return house. Your natal moon is in the 9th.
It looks like your 8th natal house is rising so transformation, death and rebirth, as well as others resources.
The 2/8 axis is a focus particularly with the moon in the 2nd...that is the 2nd indicator of three to foretell of an event.
Your lunar angle are a loose replication of your solar and your lunar sun is in an angle of the solar return so I think we can call this a focal month. The angle connections are a little too loose for me but because the sun is on a solar angle I would make a note.
Pluto rules the chart so we look for the placement of Pluto...2nd house. Third indicator of a transforming event connected to your resources and others resources. Makes sense to me:)
Sun in the 8th....again focus on others resources.
Scorpio rising=fixed and an indicator of fixed state or stability or permanence. Scorpio rising is indicative of 'a time for change" as Scorpio rules Pluto or transformation.
The fact that the eighth house is rising, a succedent house, is an indication of conclusions and finality.
I would definitely note planets, both lunar and natal, close to the cusps and more importantly, close to the angles with the focus being first and 10th.
Saturn is the most prominent planet highest and should be noted.
Mars/venus is note worthy but it will be a side note. I do not see an emphasis there. It does indicate usually a male/female relationship and in the 6th might be someone at work or daily habits etc.
Jupiter and Uranus on the 5th house cusp can be an indicator of an abrupt relationship developing. With the lunar MC on the cusp of the 6th this could be a repeat theme of your co-workers in a public light.
Pluto does aspect this pair at a fairly close degree.
But again, since it is not the focus house I suspect it might be a more minor event.
Well, keep us posted and congraturlation.

Yes, you're correct, the LR is on the outside, natal on the inside, LR moon in 2nd house.

GOOD catch on 8th/Scorpio rising, I totally overlooked that!!! The whole transformation theme fits well!
It's interesting that the 2nd/8th axis is highlighted. When I saw the moon was in the 2nd, I was just like eh whatever, but 2nd can be finances, right? I wonder if I will get a nice big fat graduation check from my family?

The only thing about the "people at work" thing is that I don't have a job. HOWEVER, maybe I will have one lined up when I graduate? Again, I totally overlooked the natal 6th/LR MC lineup. That would be quite nice, if that's possible.

Thanks for replying, that opened my eyes to some new stuff :)

Great! I am glad I could be of some help. Lunars are great. I am watching this one for some interesting activity:) hopefully positive but maybe not...
Also, the moon in the 2nd indicates that a lot of the activity will happen in the second third of the month or 10 days after your lunar return begins. But I have found that events can really happen at any point. I have read that the moons transit around the chart can mark events. It seems like only the moons transits to the angles correlates with a peak in activity. I also wanted you to note the north node conjunct the cusp there. I think that that could bring an emphasis to that house too.

I've always wanted to steadily watch my LRs, but I always just sort of forget! Do you watch yours regularly?

10 days after the LR does make sense...because 7 days after that one, is when I have my technical graduation. So it's very likely that G-day, and the days following will be busy!

I completely missed the node conjunction, as well (do I LOOK at the chart!? haha). There is definitely some serious cusp activity in this LR. I will definitely report back on this after I graduate, and discuss what unfolded.
