View Full Version : Prophet in which country?
We often lose things. Or animals. But what about forgotten ideas? It usually follows the pattern: you're walking down the street, something wonderful is in your mind and bang, a friend - hello, hello and so on, good bye. Now, what was the thing I was thinking about? Blank sheet!
Where can I find it in horary? I don't mean forgotten password or solution to the problem, nothing of the sort. Just clear idea, relating to I DON'T KNOW WHAT.
The 3rd house rules the mind, it is where you go beyond your own limitations, so should I take a look at the 3rd and Mercury? The second option is to look at the house ruling the place where I forgot something - home, work - or the thing that interrupted you - a friend, etc. Any ideas?

What you forget stays in your mind .. so I would look at Mercury and/or third house lord, supposing your brain didn't delete it. :)

That's a fascinating and original question, Cass!
I can see the connection with Mercury and 3rd house. 3rd house/Gemini would show one idea ( yours) being interrupted by a competing idea ( the others). So this would have much to do with someone starting to talk with you - and what they said "challenged and interrupted" what you were saying.
Another way of looking at it: 11th house rules the Universal Mind/Christ Mind - where revelation comes from. (11th house ruler is Uranus, which is higher octave of Mercury) 12th house is our subconscious. If you turn the chart for the 11th being the 1st - then the 12th house is what is valued and retained ( turned 2nd) from the 1st (turned 11th). And where are those things that come from the Universal mind but aren't retained consciously? The 12th house - our subconscious. Also, the opposing house is sharp, analytical mind (Virgo) - so it would seem fitting that the things we forget are in our 12th house.

P.S. This is a curious title for the thread:

It reminds me of that verse in the Bible about "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country".

Thank You, freedomlover.
It's really inspiring, indeed. I wonder how this could be applicable to the déjà vu concept - where have I seen it before? Would the 12th-6th tension explain successfully this amazing mental short-circuit?

Well, I hadn't got that far with it... but now that you mention it-- yes, I think it explains that very well. We are more directly connected to the Higher/Universal Mind when we are sleeping - so yes, I can definitely see how this could explain deja-vu. Virgo/6th house rules discernment, practicality, the mundane, being "here and now" - mindfulness. Pisces/12th house would show things stored in the subconscious during dreamtime.
It makes sense to me!
