Hi all....My friend JJ has tons of Gemini energy,
or Mercury in general with that Virgo stellium, Merc conj. NN.

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/EvilPixyDust/JJChart.gif

I'm NOT sure on his birthtime, but a Libra Moon
seems right...He's excellent at partnerships &
compromise, liked being married, artistic eye etc.

Can you all help me with this though.. :)

1) He's very interesting to me(man or woman)...Granted, I haven't had much life experience..We met when I was escorting, and he
softened me with his innocence toward the situation...I was
his "first" since being divorced 6 months ago.
Kinda weird, since he could have pick any number of providers that night.
We worked in the same place previously, just not the same shift.

2) Gemini isn't really described as about "close attachments" to the past..or sentimental, emotionally sensitive...Which JJ def. seems to be.
His appearance is macho muscle, karate master....Yet keenly intuitive & compassionate to people's pain, and almost too giving of "benefit of the doubt".
That Venus in Cancer must be strong huh?
The fast talking, multable projects in work, jack of all trades thing is there in career mostly...One on one, he no underhandedness & upfront, modest of abilities.

Geminis I've always loved as close buds since childhood. I wonder why...since they are opposite my Venus/ASC/Uranus & square Moon?? Opposites attract thing?
Anyone else have this happen with their opposite sign?

Pixy,

Since your friend has Cancer (home, also emotions) modifying an unaspected (strong energy) Venus (relationships), he may be very emotional in his relationships. However, since this energy is unaspected, it does not "connect in" with him. As a result he does not FEEL related to others and so OVER-relates to others in an attempt to "feel related." In your synastry there are connections to Venus so he can "relate" to others THROUGH the energy you provide him.

Looking at his connections to YOUR Venus, they are many and, for the most part, challenging. This can cause short-term excitement but also long-term issues in a relationship with this person. Most challenging are his Pluto (transformation, also power) square (energy needs to be combined with) your Venus, indicating he may "overpower" you in some way in the relationship.

Your strong attraction to Geminis could be Gemini modifying your Descendant (others) in a "fate degree" (strong energy - a planet or point in 29 or 0 degrees is in a "fate degree"). This could indicate you attract Gemini energy to you.

Finally, although he may be "compassionate to people's pain" with Uranus (friends, also rebellion) conjunct (energy is combined with) Pluto (transformation, also power) conjunct Mars (being, also action, anger) square (energy needs to be combined with) Jupiter (expansion), he could also CAUSE people pain! Be careful around him.

Relating carefully,

Tim

!Viva!

Hi Tim,
I read your sensitive reading:

"Finally, although he may be "compassionate to people's pain"
with Uranus (friends, also rebellion) conjunct (energy is combined with)
Pluto (transformation, also power) conjunct Mars (being, also action,
anger) square (energy needs to be combined with) Jupiter (expansion),
he could also CAUSE people pain! Be careful around him.

Relating carefully,

Tim"

and smiled to myself, because I learned a lot from it :!:

For example, my natal Uranus at the fatefull
29th degree Gemini is opposite my Vesta sitting on GC with tr Pluto Rx :o

and Uranus has tr Mars activating all that Gemini energy....with natal
asteroid Asbol there, too...

....forming a Yod sextile my natal Saturn at 29 Leo

and natal Jupiter cj Nessu at the cap/aquarius cusp
focal point
in my 2nd house...

(my chart's in Arian Mav's files FYI) ---

these are major pontentiality points in my natal chart (not
to mention progressed!!)...

and when connected with Heart...this is the outlet for
much creativity (and other feelings and inspirations)...

and illustrates how many different combinations of
uniqueness we human beings are.

Please feel free to comment, of course...anyone....

and thanks for clarifying, as always, Tim!

This guy's heavily mutable - even more than me. I'm a Gem-Pis-Vir, with Gem Venus and Aqua Mars, and I'm not very sentimental yet very compassionate and empathetic - there's a big difference. Geminis live in the moment, that much is always true of Gemini. But how we live in the moment varies - some of us are living pretty shallowly, expereincing only the surface, while others of us live much more deeply. A lot depends of the rest of the chart and how that influences our very mutable, airy Sun.

Now I'm going to touch on a pet peeve of mine: Mercury always get shortchanged. When looking a chart for this or that, it seems people just don't want to give Mercury its due, be it the planet, or its two signs, or its houses. But in the case of this chart (like mine), you can't deny Mercury. This Gem guy has significant Virgo influence - Virgo is the other side of Mercury, the side that's more balanced in its sense of time and a broader perspective, although more hesistant to act. Gemini eagerly participates, while Virgo watches, observes, analyzes. Geminis with significant Virgo influence usually aren't your stereotypical Gems - they do tend to be less shallow, flakey, and detached (and I'm not just saying this because I'm a Virgo rising). They also are often quieter, more reserved, perhaps less bubbly, perky or energetic than other Gems. They tend to incorporate a wider Mercurial influence, one that is more balanced, more faceted and nuanced. These are Gems that often take a deeper interest in people, and rather than forming a multitude of varied acquintances, prefer to seek out fewer yet more substantial friendships with varied individuals. Virgo is no less socially-orientated than Gemini (remember than Virgo is one of the social signs), just in a different way. Airy Gemini brings stimuli, curiousity and appreciation of the other's individuality to a friendship while earthy Virgo brings sensitivity, loyalty and memory.

While people look at squaring signs in a chart as a bad thing, for two mutable signs ruled by the same planet, it can just as easily be a blending of two sets of distinct yet complimentary triats. Remember that mutable signs are more agreeable in tense aspects than other signs, and this is especially true of the Mercurial signs. Most people with significant Gem-Vir influences, even ones with different Sun signs, that I've know have been very compassionate, loyal and conscientious people, even if they at times manifest the peevish side of Virgo or the unreliable side of Gem. So while there's other things in your friend's chart, it's simple numbers (6 planets total in Mercurial signs) that suggests that the dominant traits you see in him are related greatly to his Mercurial nature.
