I'm getting into reading Solar Return charts. I'm looking back at past years to see patterns. In 2007 I moved into a bigger house (same city), I can't see anything on my Solar Return chart about this particular happening. I thought I should look at my fourth house, but I don't see much going on there, just Neptune. I don't know if Neptune has got to do with anything with moving...
Any suggestions?

Moon..the traditional ruler of homes is in house of finance conjunct jupiter=expansion.
Saturn, ruler of your fourth house, is prominent in the chart, at the top of the chart indicating it importance.
It trines moon, change, and jupiter expansion.
I also see the square to mercury in the 7th ruler of 9th indicating delays and legal frustrations.
Venus opposes jupiter in the 9th of real estate either indicating lavish expensive or loss of income through expansion. It also opposes pluto ruler of finance indicating transformation but there were some struggles there maybe in your own thoughts and ideas since venus rules the solar first house.

Don't see too much in this chart about moving, at all. However, often times when the Secondary Progressed Moon changes signs a real-life move is indicated, so perhaps, check them. Also tertiery and minor progressions can line up to indicate a move. In fact, the minor progressions change every birthday, so they are to be noted in conjunction with the Solar Return. I'd check everywhere else, because the SR seems dry.

your right.
just, nothing was said in my 4th house, shouldn't here be some efficience since it is the house of the home? but the moon jupiter says a lot and everything else you said was right.

I don't have a Solar Return book just yet. Would reading natal chart aspect interpretations be helpful when applying them to your Solar Return chart?

Your chart has disappeared for help on how to do this, go here http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12126 (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12126)
Have you read the forum's 'how to interpet' SR?

I also like cafeastrology

but without seeing your chart cannot comment further....

Yes, solars are sort of of like natals accept they are only good for a year. I have found that sometimes planets can be interpreted using their traditional meanings ie venus=relationships or finance or by the house they rule in the chart or where they are...so this year uranus was in my second house....uh yeah...sudden disruptions in income....jupiter in first=gaining weight:)

Posted my chart, thought that I could just get away with pasting a link.
I read 'how to interpret a solar return chart' forum, and I visited cafeastrology before too.
Funny, I have Jupiter on my ascendant this year, I don't recall myself indulging more then usual.. I did visit a foreign country though, I actually gained a bit of weight, but lost all of it dramaticly in a day when I fell ill the day before I had to get back home, I came home looking slimmer then usual, what luck..

Really! I wonder too as jupiter in my solar was retrograde and I had lost weight the year before some 25 lbs so I took it as a return to a former state but jupiter is expansion and benefits and optimism too.
This year sun and venus were on the cusp of the 6th house and I was confused about this until yesterday when my beau had a mild heart attack. The sun and venus were challenged by Pluto in the 12th and uranus by square. The moon is in the 9th and my mother had legal issues trying to file bankruptcy and mars on the cusp of eight opposing neptune, my ex husband quit his job and has been changing jobs ever since thus child support (others resources) have dissolved and then been okay then dissolved again. I just find it interesting particularly as I am watching it more closely this year and have some ideas. I then pay attention to my lunars and can sort of see things coming ....sort of...I am getting better at it so I encourage you to keep working on it as it is a great tool. Looking in to the future is like looking in to a dark glass....you can see somethings but you can't be quite sure but corroborating indicators from progressed and solar arcs help.
