Your Sun is You and Your Ego

I just thought about this when people blame some placement in their chart shouldn't they really be holding their Sun, also known as them self, responsible? Are their egos so undeveloped where they can't stand to issue it a beating?:confused: Your Sun is you so if you can't handle business within yourself properly it's your fault, or your Sun for the sensitive.

Why would you blame the ascendant over the Sun? I've always thought that the Sun is the person's Ego; is the ascendant their subconscious?

Never blame planets, Sunsigns or Ascendants for your behavior. Everything in astrology is symbolic dont forget.It would be like saying :all Scorpion Suns are secretive and secret people cannot be honest, so they are bad, all Libra Suns are harmonious, all Pisces Suns are vague and mystic. Etc.

We cannot do this. We were born with a symbolic roadmap and we can take any direction we want. Symbolically, aspects show how two energies work together, in a harmonious or less harmonious way. But less harmonious aspects also can show great strength and strong input. It is up to us to decide how to use the energy given to us.

then it is symbolically so. The Ascendant symbolises you and your body.

So Leon, you should never blame your chart for anything. Your chart is a map which can give you spiritual direction. You can say:" I am so lucky, that is because I have Jupiter conjunct the Ascendant" but is not really Jupiter, but the optimistic energy which was symbolically assigned to Jupiter which makes you see things in a positive way and thus you feel lucky.

I was pointing out what I tend to see among hardcore believers about how a certain planet gives them so much trouble. Anyways in short if your life ***** it's your fault.
