Hello, I was curious to ask if anyone sees a certain field that my chart would point to..

sweep,

Since you have South node (the past) focused near your 5th house (self-expression), you have a natural ability to express yourself. However, since your North node (future goals) is focused near the 11th house (friends, also other people's self-exprsession), you are moving toward helping others to express themselves. Since you have a T-square between the nodes focused on Jupiter (expansion, also teaching) focused in the 9th house (expansion, also teaching), maybe you should consider teaching in some way as being a way to help others express themselves. There should also be a spiritual element to your teaching since your North node is actually focused in the 12th house (spirituality).

Spiritually expressive,

Tim

Hi--

What about being an art therapist? Helping others reveal their problems by putting their thoughts into art images?

A bit of non-astro advice, you should try out both fields before making a decision. See if you can do work experience in either if you haven't yet so it can give you a taste of what you want to do. Otherwise, is there any way of combining the elements of both professions or just taking up one and having the other as a hobby.

Sweep,

Why exactly do those friends opinions mean so much you think?

I'm not trying to be rude, I just personally never weighed by buds opinions on my career heavily...their ideas on relationships, but not that area.
Maybe thats you North Node showing, since it's the house of groups/friends, you are being pushed toward anything group/organization/friends oriented?
You also have a stellum in the 11th as well, the house that focuses on those things.

You're Sun & Moon are squared(conflicted) from the 11th & 7th.
Interesting that this is on those houses, the 11th as I mentioned, an the 7th house is also business partners.

A Cap Moon is great for hard nosed determination to a goal,
and in the 7th, its focused in the "close relationship/compromise" house.
Moon is the 2nd house ruler(Income), and it's conj. Neptune too...Neptune is an arty/compassionate planet.
Plus it ruled the MC(Career), so I'd say actually say anything art/humanitarian is perfect.

I have heard of art therapy mentioned before from a friend but I never really knew what it was... for some reason I had thought it dealt with color chart harmonies and didn't think much of it....

Sweepstrings,

There are a lot of directions you can go with this art and therapy thing. With your Pisces Midheaven, you have some urge toward healing others. I've read about a crime artist who developed her own technique in relaxing crime victims, so that the victims were better able to recall the features of their attackers. Then the crime artist would draw what the person told them to draw, and came up with more accurate drawings as a result!

But another application is studying psychology (I dont' know how much) and then helping people learn to make their own drawings, not with the aim of creating wonderful art, but in order to help them understand their own emotions.

Nowadays, many therapist or psychology organizations just give patients a drug instead of helping them look at their emotions and motivations and the forces at work in their own lives.

Art therapy can be used as a key to help a patient unlock their own innermost thoughts and feelings.

Unfortunately I am bit apprehensive to return into art, for reasons involving a couple of friends who might not approve of my sudden actions, as it would seem that...

I presume that you will "get over" whatever apologetic feelings you have toward your so-called friends, and you will plunge forward into the area where you are best able to help others.

... Actually, I know friends wouldn't think of it like that, but they are a rather very catty couple in verbally destructive way and I am not interested to be grilled in psychoanalysis which they seem to do with others who get in their way... Uhm, but I digress...

I think I know people who are like this, so I guess I can sort of understand where you're coming from. The only solution I can think of, is something confrontational, although I'm sure there is a more mature approach, like, telling yourself the best revenge is doing a great job, or something like that... If the catty people are only students, try to forget about them. If the catty people are instructors, maybe you should think about exploring other schools...

By the time you've worked on supplementary courses to help you shift your major to a double major, enough time may have passed that you've moved on to other chums, who support you in your new endeavors.
