View Full Version : In need of guidance.
I've gone to nursing school, worked in childcare, cleared fields, picked weeds, but I have no idea what I'm doing.
It seems like everyone is set on a goal, but all of my goals are blurry.
I had someone interpret my chart for me and tell me, "This is why you're struggling so much. You're meant to do something special." I asked her further what she meant, and she commented on my Sun conjunct Northern Node, both trine the Midheaven. She said I had a special destiny.
Looking at my chart myself, Mercury is the tenth house ruler, and Mercury in my chart is very activated. I'm a very good writer and always excelled in English. Chiron and Jupiter is in my tenth, meaning I can give hope and healing in my career.
I'm not sure what else I can comment on. Neptune transiting my sixth house doesn't help.
I'm hoping you could clear this up for me and supply me with some guidance. Thank you.

I find it a little difficult to do pieces of charts...but from what info you have given having Chiron in the 10th house is about healing your connection with the world while Jupiter is expanding you there are well. It can take sometime for you to discover what your true purpose is because of chiron there, the world is healing a part of you i someway which is hard to determine from the info you have given about your chart. Having the sun in a conjuction with the n.node from what I have felt is that it can only be activated when the 6th house is..in some ways you can be pulled in 2 different directions..and will probably experience that until you discover what it is you need to know or do...just a thought ...may be of help for you:)

Sorry, I surely was looking at the wrong chart!
I did a quick peek at your correct chart and what jumps out at me is all those Cap planets! Yes, I remember when that happened. It's been my observation with Caps, that they find their calling usually later in life (and I don't mean at 80 years old!) Perhaps you're putting too much pressure on yourself and you are so young.
There isn't anything wrong with doing different jobs until the right career comes along; just think of all the experience you'll have!
Also, Caps are known for making money. It just seems to fall out of the sky and in their pockets. I have many Cap friends and they all make a good living. One friend changed jobs many, many times in her life but finally hit pay dirt with a great company and now makes close to six figures. Take a look at the TOP money earners in talk radio - they're all Caps; Howard Stern, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Dr Laura (although she fell from grace a while ago but is still making millions.)
Please don't be so hard on yourself. Take a breather; go to college if that's what you want to do; get a part-time job in a field that you think you'll like. Something will come to you and it will be good!
The nursing career seems to be one to fit your chart. You have the ruler of the 6th in the 12th and the ruler of the MH in the 8th. Hospice nursing?
The stellium in your 9th would suggest other things, such as a travel agent (although now does not seem like the right time for that type of career); working in the legal field; as you've suggested, writing is also an option (especially with Pluto in the 3rd). With the Leo ascendent, you will want to be noticed and rewarded for your work.
Pluto is just now entering your 6th house - an it will bring more clarity into your day-to-day life. I'm thinking in a few months you'll know exactly the right career as it will choose you!
Best of luck to you.
Mmm, I think you're talking about something else because I don't have planets in the ninth.
I posted the chart if that clarifies things.

Polo, if I read your chart correctly, you were born in 1990, which still gives you some time to find your career feet. I don't know if you are a college/university student or not, or whether higher education is a possibility for you.
To me, a whole slug of planets in adjacent Capricorn and Aquarius is good for science and engineering: Aquarius supplies the innovative thinking, but Capricorn offers the "earth" for practical applications. Are you good at math, or do you suffer from math anxiety? Your Virgo rising sign should make you conscientious about getting things right.
With your sun in the 5th house of "play", your moon in daring Aries, I wonder how you feel about a career in environmenmental science, environmental education, nature-writing, investigative reporting on science, or outdoor recreation.
If we do a bicycle tour of your career houses, your MC ruler is Mercury, located in the 4th house of "home" but close to the 5th house cusp. Home can be your literal home (and early childhood home conditioning), but it can also expand to one's environment. Your 2nd (money) house ruler Venus, is also happily aspected in your 5th house. Your 6th house ruler Uranus is also in your 4th house.

Polo, you have the somewhat unfortunate aspect of Chiron in 10th opposite Neptune in 4th house. Chiron in 10th kinda clouds the area of career direction, and the Neptune opposition renders this moreso. As you age, your clarity about what you wish to do and why will increase. You should not waste daylight stressing out about this at this time of your life.
I'm not about to make any suggestions, because others are quite adequately doing that. However, as someone who has Chiron in the 10th house, I spent my whole working life asking myself "What is it I'm meant to be doing? All this feels so....so.... mundane!" I now look back at my working life and recognise that when I followed my instincts I did exactly the right thing for that time in my life - always. It rarely felt that way at the time, but in retrospect I can see the `perfection' of everything I've ever done.
In some strange way, you probably have a better ability to give others an idea of what they ought to be doing rather than knowing about your own career path. Careers counselor? That sounds glib, but I'm serious. Perhaps you can combine a business flair with a sense of something futuristic.

However, as someone who has Chiron in the 10th house, I spent my whole working life asking myself "What is it I'm meant to be doing? This is as close as one can get to explaining Chiron in the 10th. Chiron's placement in a house is somewhat like one of Saturn, where the native needs to go through a few setbacks, if you so will, to finally heal himself into knowing and discovering his path, or, in this case, his real vocation. I have an e.g. from within my family, my brother also has this placement, and it has been a series of 'trial and error' till now, but the Saturn return (strange as it may sound to some) seems to be helping him out and giving him more steady ground under his feet, as compared to the years before. The bottom line with Chiron is that healing comes through suffering.

Neptune Transits the Sixth House
You are more susceptible to medications, chemicals, and other such things during this long-term cycle, so keep this in mind. Stress more easily affects your health as well. Some confusion on the job may be part of the picture, or your job may steer towards compassionate service, charity, or other helping professions. Neptune's presence here can make it more challenging to stick to routines or schedules.
as per www.cafeastrology.com (http://www.cafeastrology.com)
There is a lack of planets in air and fire in your chart but most air cos you have three planets in house of fire Leo. Loads of earth, will PM cos not sure of author....
