Hello there! I am a budding astrologer and have been finding it difficult to figure out if the man I am dating will be "the one". I have been trying to do synastry between our charts as well as trying to find out my age of marriage. It seems that I will not be getting married until I am in my 40's, which is very depressing because I am 28 now.

I was wondering if anyone could help me with my little conquest! My chart info is: 8-14-80, Laurel Mississippi, at 11:59am. My partner's is: 7-6-77, Birmingham Alabama, appx 8am.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like you are using just progressions to attempt a prediction on marrige. At your age now you are obviously have your first Saturn return, wanting to settle down, make roots etc.

well the is definitly a soulmate feeling to the composite but the caution at the outset is that sometimes soulmate does not mean permanence. with venus oppposed to neptune on the mc/ic axis there is a intense sexual,emotional.psychic-spiritual connection here.but neptune often weakens the concepts of fidelity.the psychic component is very strong and your feel her in your heart when she is thinkinking of you.you often say and think the same things at the same time.you feel as if you are in each other heads all the time not just during sex.

I had a look at your chart and your partners chart concerning Sun/Moon/Venus/Mars aspects. You have the following;

Moon trine Venus by 6
Venus conjunct Sun by 8

Sun square Mars by 0
Sun square Venus by 7
Mars square Sun by 6

I think this relationship will be very challenging, maybe at first the sparks will fly but at the end maybe pots and pans?! By these aspects I dont think he is the one to give you a happy marriage.

You can google the aspects and see what they mean for more information. I had a look at your tightest orb which is Sun square Mars by 0.

Thank everyone for their help! I have since discovered that I had his time wrong. I have redone his chart as well as did my first attempt at calculating our aspects! I am very proud. If anyone could check to see if I have done this right I would be so appreciative.

I have found the following:
My sun is conjunct his saturn

my sun is sextile his jupiter
His sun conjuncts my venus
his sun is sextile my jupiter
his moon opposes my saturn
his mercury is square my mars
his mercury is trine my uranus
my mercury is conjuct his saturn
my mercury is square his uranus
his mercury is sextile my saturn
his mars is trine my saturn
his mars is opposing my uranus
my mars is trine his jupiter
his venus is trine my saturn
my venus is trine his uranus
his jupiter is square my saturn

Saturn in synastry acts as 'cement' whether good or bad, but if you have bad aspects ie; conj, squares, oppisitions it can feel very restricting, limiting and unloved (if venus in involved).....

www.astro.com (http://www.astro.com) has intereactive charts for composites, but remember composite describe 'the relationship' and how it functions rather than either one of you.

If you go to free horoscopes, look to right for interactive horoscopes, go down to 'Astroclick partner' If you put the cursor over each planet it will bring up a pop up describing how it functions and any aspects to it..;)

Thank you so much. I looked at the interactive program and it was very interesting.....What I am getting is that this is a very transforming relationship for the both of us mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I fell that there are few negative aspects and those seem to be easily balanced out by the other wonderful aspects. I feel that we should just go with the flow and enjoy ourselves without thinking to far ahead as far as expectations as the relationship will progress just fine on its own....

I just wish I could get insight on the probability of marriage...
