1. hey, clearly im new so aloha everyone, and please dont be turned off by my name either, its supposed to make a point (like the tarot card death)

before i go on, i would like to say that this thread is dedicated to anyone who helps me out

2/3. now ive read around the forum and found that a thread asking people for help in interpereting my chart isnt looked at too highly, but i assure that im sincere in my intentions and wont just bounce after i recieve help (thats clearly rude, and if anything, i would bounce if nobody helped me out, or at least i would want to but it wouldnt happen cuz this forum does give me insight on thangs) one thing i wanna state for the record is that i feel that ever since i found out about charts and how astrology is legit in terms of self improvement and in general, i fell in love with it and it has helped me with understanding my life, so if anyone thinks im just curious about my charts depths and am gonna leave after i understand, you ARE wrong

YES THIS DOES LOOK LIKE I WANT A FREE IN DEPTH READING, which i do who doesnt lol, but rather an overview on how i can read the in depth areas, (but if anyone feels like bein deep, that's OK)

im tryin to kill two birds w one stone in the sense of understanding more than what these free reports are telling me, i wanna be able to read my own chart and being taught how to read my own chart seems more sensible than readings others' first, and THEN read others'

i know i should do more research and all, but the mercury in leo thing (i think) would rather a more alive and creative real experience rather than just "read info, process info, hold onto info" blah blah lol id rather: "oh hey dude yeah when your this is in that at soandso degrees orb of placidamius it means neptunes choking mars out" or something you know and plus i have done a bunch of research, but i feel that this will fill in the gaps

i basically need some assistance in understanding the trees themselves and how they affect with oneanother, not the forest cuz thats pretty much what i know, but cant know anymore of the forest because i dont really understand the trees you know (if there were 20 trees in this forest , i understand like 7 1/2 ones because theyre important trees, but even those are pretty tall and hard to see)

so if anyone wants to pm me or post anything thatd be as cool as falling off a log backwards

death if you sleuth around the links and education board, you should find some places to get started. Moderator Tim Wilson has a super website that will walk you through the beginning steps. http://www.geocities.com/wilsontctc

If I could recommend one book for a beginner it would be Steven Forrest, The Inner Sky. Probably available at a nearby New Age book store or via a large Internet bookseller. A good website with a lot of introductory material is by astrologer Bob Marks at http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com . You can do a lot of free charts at astrodienst website at http://www.astro.com .

I can see what your getting at Death, you want to be able to understand how your planetary positions affect you personally so that then you can understand the same positions in other peoples persona's, I tend to do this myself, and I think that your on the right track! Why not post your chart!

nice to welcome newbies,

It is helpful if you ask specific questions rather than give a 'shopping list' of things you want answered, BUT you don't seem to have done either. I have sent you private mail, with some nice links.....

There are lots of different types of Astrologers here, either Traditional or Modern. I am modern and use Equal house system, lots on here use placidus and the default house system you used to calculate your chart on astro.com is placidus.

Now in Equal house your Uranus in in 2nd as each house cusp is same as Ascendant 4'45", So major house influences are 2nd house 'how your earn your money/spend it, values, property etc' and 8th house of Scorpio, joint finances, with whomever, sex,conception, life after death, occult etc. So these two houses are of major concern cos your chart ruler Jupiter is in the 8th house also, so this is where you expand and grow.

Solar arcs are very simple, you just simply move each planet 1' for each year of your life, SO around 29 your SA venus from 7th will be conjunct your sun in 8th house, so i would expect marriage, or pregnancy around that time.

will explain the oppositions in detail, oppositions usually mean 'other people' and squares create internal tension until your resolve the issues.

sounds good a50, obviously our convo has continued through pm and to anyone who reads; i found a50s thread introducing the forum to beginners was helpful and that if i had known some things a50 said there beforehand, i wouldntve had to throw this random array of info and questions at everyone in such a general way, but im in now way complaining, just giving some insight from a noob opinion, and that a50 has helped me out a good deal. (this is sort of a response to that thread since its closed because i felt this information is important)

as for anyone else, if youre just hangin out or bored and want to point out some crazy experienced astroknowledge my way either concerning my own or anyone elses chart, please do! im really good at playing the drums so if anyone wants drum lessons in trade im downn :D
