After saving enough money for the first indulgence of my life, I find my extremely unsettling natal aspect of Uranus in the ninth house (sudden, unforeseen death) once again immobilizing me with fear. The issue is (please don't laugh), liposuction the week of February16th. Maybe the 20th? The full moon seemed sufficiently waning. I'm sincelely grateful for any direction, and I hope this was posted correctly, and in the proper place. Thank you.

Hi Lisa, im sorry uranus in 9th is giving you so much greif. Can you expand for me please whether it is a transit to your natal uranus or is uranus in 9th in your natal chart?

Regardless of what the aspect is there really isnt any cause for concern. There is a one in twelve chance of having uranus in the 9th house (which incidently i wouldnt interpret as sudden unforseen death). Now its pretty evident that 1/12th of the entire population, who have uranus in 9th, havent dropped dead suddenly or unforseen. In fact many gifted and famous astrologers still struggle to give conditions in a chart that will indicate death occuring at a particular time or in a particular manner.
Also you do realise that death occurs suddenly and unforseen in about 90% of the population.
Really, you are about to give yourself a much deserved treat. Enjoy it:)

Thank you for such a quick response. It's in my natal chart. Should I have attached a chart? I have no secrets... Nov. 3rd, 1955, at 'about' 8:00am. Also, I would pay dearly for a rectification chart. Grief doesn't cover it.
I am so fearful, (not my usual nature) I only last summer saw an ocean for the first time. Thank you, nice person

I feel as though the world has shifted... after too many years of tears and anguish, your simple (and logical) response, has spoken to other issues as well. I love you.

Ok when you think about every day of your life for the past 53 years, think about all the times you could have died, everytime you use an electrical appliance, everytime you went outside, use a car, met someone new, ate food, fell asleep by the fire etc, the chances of dying suddenly have been numbered in their millions and yet you are here with us today.
Can I ask if you feel guilty about having the surgury? Is it possible that your fear is actually you looking for a reason to not have the surgury?

I have no guilt whatsoever. (Fear, maybe) And I know logically all the risks inherent to daily life... but... you know. It's funny... I am everyone's source of 'help' and of their uplifting when they're down, ( but, seeing as you're a mum too, you know it comes with the territory) yet, it was
kind of hard to even come to this board and admit I needed help. You were so kind and made it so easy. Could you tell that I became an 'orphan' in 1996?

Lisa K-
House 8 is the house of *death*, not h9. As you don't have your exact birth time you really can't pay too much attention to the houses in the chart you are using.Your *progressed* chart will also be inaccurate.
Rectification can be done, but it is very labour intensive. Can you not access your birth records from the place/ hospital in which you were born? This may cost a small amount of money, but much less than having a chart rectification done by an experienced and professional astrologer.I cannot stress enough the importance of having accurate astrological data.If you don't though, an horary chart can be cast to ask a specific question.
As for being able to tell from your chart that you are an orphan- Without knowing the exact cusps, no, I dont think anyone could ascertain that as
this matter would most definitely involve the cusps of houses 4, 10 and 11, and their Lords.
I hope you can get your birth time.
Cheers, and good luck with the surgery!

No I actually have just now cast your chart. The most striking feature of your chart is sun in scorpio in 12th house being completly unaspected! I havent see that before. Typically an unaspected planet function on its own which is probably why you have always stood alone. Sun being in the 12th house unaspected also carries the full weight of transits alone. For example if you had sun/moon square and a transititing venus aspect then the aspected energy affects both sun and moon so they share the experience and in so doing support each other. So its quite likely your fear was triggered by a transit, probably the recent aquarius moon opposing pluto, ruler of your 12th house sun.:)

How very wonderful and kind everyone has been. As I hold my birth cerificate, I see it is complete except for the time of birth, which is why I use my mother's assertion of "around or a few minutes before 8:00am". (I typically use
7:55 because it was the year I was born.) As for the unaspected 12 house, I never considered that. I will take time today and reassess. Thank you, you'll never know how much it means that took time out to help me. Lisa

i agree, death may well be predicted by 8th house not 9th. chart retification can be done but takes lots of questions and dates, events etc..

I just realized, to my chagrin, I did in fact say 9th house, when I meant 8th house. In my defense, (besides being nervous) I was 'experimenting' with a hoary indicator for (amusingly enough) second spouses forgetting particular leg-wear for the same event, a wedding. Or maybe, I dunno, it was a Roman Numeral slip-up. Thank you for getting my main drift.
