I thought maybe I'd focus on my strengths instead of weaknesses. I think my strength is in theory-stuff. I'm less good at actual readings.

So does anyone have any recommendations on where I might be able to learn about astrology from a more academic or theoretical point of view? I don't have the money or time to do one of the degrees (Kepler college...) but would like to be able to read up on stuff, so any books, names, or inexpensive seminars would be awesome...

Sundance,

Two ready suggestions for you:

If you visit the threads on the Education board, some of them have subject- related books recommended at the end of the main post (opening post), or in one of the following ones.

Then there is a whole thread on Ebooks on Astrology (can't remember where, but will try to recall) with some great recommendations, too.

Have a peek at them, might help.

Thanks! I've put some requests on the E-Books thread, but haven't received any yet: I think Vishwas is somewhat fatigued.

Will check out education board :)

I found this:

How great would it be if we could study something like that
