Emotional Nights?

I'm not sure if this is just life in general, or is there some astrological tie to it, but does anyone experience rather emotional nights, particularly around say 10 PM until they finally sleep?

I've been going through a bout of that the past week, ever since meditating late Sunday night, with tonight and last night being exceptionally strong. Any thoughts?

starlink, as noted in my other post, I just started. I'm barely able to understand natal charts, let alone transits or how to find out where and how they relate to my charts.

As far as what I think, physically, I think its because I'm more tired and such my internal defenses are weakened, allowing my intense emotions to overcome my logical side.

Astrologically, I'm not sure. I would guess the Scorpio Pluto-Moon conjunction in the 3rd house, but then again, I'm just finding out what that actually translates to.

I do know from life experience, as its has been shown over and over again, that my mind is constantly at war with itself, often pitting my controlled, logical side against my intense and often uncontrolled emotional side. Day time, the logical side usually reigns, with me usually falling asleep or getting angry when the emotions take over. Night time, the emotional side takes over, which can either mean a night of introspection, or a night of tears and grief that I've had the past week or so.

Then again, from a difficult childhood, I've also learned to see the negative more often than the positive, so naturally through attempting my own readings, I've seemed to see a lot of my own problems, rather than my strengths. That problem compounds itself every day that I don't understand the charts and such, ever since I took up an interest in it last week.

For learning astrology you might want to go to our Education Board (go to Forum Jump at the top of the page, then scroll all the way down till you see it. In there is a good article about basic natal interpretation. That might help you to start understanding astrology. Give it a try.
