I'd like to put forth the topic of "Eclipse Windows" for discussion.

I've heard different schools of thought on this. Some say a few days on either side. Some say a couple weeks on either side. I've also heard that it can "deliver" right at 30 days +/-.

Personally, I've seen alot of truth in the "30 day +/-" theory. I had big eclipse breakthrough type things happen right at or exactly at the 30-day mark of an eclipse several times. Most recently with last February's eclipse - got it exactly 30 days early. I also started feeling this January 26, 2009 eclipse about 30 days early. It has been very strong, but maybe, too because the Mercury retrograde this time has been pretty much at the same degree - and both right on my natal Moon at 7* Aquarius.

What say the rest of you?

hi just a quick ?,
as i am relocated now from my original place of birth does the eclipse effect in my natal chart (which would be 11th house also conjuncting my natal jup)

or does it effect my relocated chart (which would be 5th house)?

I know its a amatuer ? but i trust your insight really.
Relocation charts are not my forte. I'm sure some others would have more technical knowledge on this than I. However, my own personal opinion is that it will be felt in the Aquarius house of all your charts - including Progressed and Solar Return, as well as your Relocated -- although the degree of the effect may vary widely. If there are any planets/asteroids/angles that have a direct hit, or near direct - then that would be the area of maximum influence.

It's not my name. It's your Sagittarius Venus/Neptune conjunction in the 9th, sextile your Jupiter in Aquarius in the 11th. :D (Echoing my Sag Sun in the 11th sextile my Aquarius Moon in the 1st) ;)

I'm keeping an eye on this eclipse too, freedomlover, as it's only 26' away from exact conjunction with my Sun and 01' away from exact with SN. Trouble is, there's so much change going on in my life at the moment that it may be hard to identify specifics associated with the eclipse (rather than the ingress of Pluto into Capricorn and my 2nd house or Uranus crossing the IC for the third time).

These changes have been fairly consistent since the end of October when my doctor put me on a low cholesterol diet. I can't say I've noticed a difference in the rate of change since Boxing Day when a 30+/- day eclipse window would have kicked in, but I shall keep watching, particularly for events that seem particularly Aquarian.

Ok, so I understand that when Mars crosses the eclipse point it can trigger a crisis. Well, I was looking at the weather and we (Ohio) have a cold front coming in with a chance for severe weather, so i will be watching that very closely especially since this eclipse aspects so many planets in my chart. Thunderstorms in the winter can be evil!

Y'know, mate, I'll tell you what I've done as a way of finding out what affects what. I wait until after the `event', and then check out :

how it affected me
how it affected those close to me whose charts I have copies of,and then I work backwards from there. In other words, I create my own pattern of `research'. And I haven't yet found a better method than that to create an astrological base of experience from which to determine the possible outcomes of future `events'.

This eclipse is what has caused all these problems in my love life. It was on the night of the eclipse that he asked for space. He was in a foul mood and acting confused and irratic.
His natal sun is 26' aquarius and T mars was on his DC.

Hopefully he will come back once the effects of this eclipse have worn off!

Hi Moulin! Thats a pity about your love life, but what i do know about eclipses is that they remove any weak link, meaning they remove what no longer serves you in order to make room for what is better suited for us.

In August 2008, 2 days after the eclipse i found my boyfriend (now EX;) ), in bed with another woman.....it was abrupt, and completely unexpected, to say the least, then immediatley, about 2 weeks after that i met a better suited man for me, now looking back in retrospect i see that what the eclipse did was do me a favor but in a hard way. we can't fight the forces, but we can work with them sister!

i wish you strength and perseverence! you never know what the universe has in mind for you, a better man that serves you completely;) ;) :D
