Requesting Permission to Post Natal Charts on a New Thread

Hello everyone! :D

This is one of my first posts as forum moderator (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1457), so please bear with me as I attempt to learn the intricacies of this position.

As you may have gathered from reading such threads as An Updated Natal Chart Forum (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1447) and Precursor to Our “Astrology Weekly” Natal Charts (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1458), I am in the beginning stages of planning a new thread exclusively for posting our natal charts.

However, since this will be a permanent and locked thread that only Radu or myself will be able to edit, sorehearted has advised me to ask each member for permission to post their natal chart on the forum.

Please consider participating in this new project...it will not be successful unless I receive a decent number of natal charts to post.

People always ask me if we have a 'special connection', and I never know how to answer (how would I know? I've never NOT had a twin brother!!) But mainly what fascinates me is that we can have such different motivations and realities with charts that are very close to identical.

(He's taken time out of a law degree to become a project manager and programmer - going into partnership with our older brother and setting himself up for financial jackpot, while I've just started my second degree in social sciences, have volunteered more than I've worked and view money primarily as a means to buy me plane tickets overseas!)

I checked my chart - and while a brand new ascendant in aquarius and an inversion of planets from the bottom to the top of my chart might be fun, I was actually born at 8.50pm, not am.

Unfortunately, when I attempted to update the thread Our "Astrology Weekly" Natal Charts (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1380) earlier this morning with images of the natal charts I had created for those who posted here, I received the following error:

I don't speak for anyone but myself when I say this but since the info is posted publicly in these various forums I make note of what's where and what birth data belongs to whom. Then I download a copy of natal charts and keep them handy in a folder with the label "Astrologers" on it. Conversational threads that come up occasionally spark a curiosity that sends me back to see the chart and it honestly helps the memory LOADS. They are all maintained respectfully with privacy and I don't share data the same as I would never share it of others when I've done their charts. I only shared my data with the expectation of ethics behind us all. I just find it easier to refer to "My Pictures" that way. I'm a bit of an old dog doing the best I can to remember where things are on various sites and this is easier for me. Back in the 70's when I was thinking how great it would be to write a program for a computer to do a chart, I never would have imagined they would so soon be part of daily use in homes across the world let alone that they would supply us with such a wealth of knowledge at our fingertips. Needless to say, my mind still doesn't incorporate the memory of easily recalling where something is filed. It's easier for me to picture where a passage in a book is located like at the top or bottom of a page or on the left or right hand page, but WOW, I digress. Can you tell? LOL.

Mercury Retrograde is probably the perfect time for me to come back to this project, which I "abandoned" for a multitude of reasons. I will spare you all the feeble excuses and simply update this thread ASAP ;)

EDIT: Since I had more than twenty new charts to upload to the forums, I thought it would be clever to use PhotoBucket to upload all of the charts at once instead of individually using ImageShack. Unfortunately, my plan did not work out as intended and the images I uploaded using PhotoBucket are full sized, and when I resize them to a thumbnail, I am no longer able to magnify the image. I will keep the thread as it is for now, but when I get more time, I will replace each PhotoBucket image with one from ImageShack. Thank you all for your patience.

Hi,

when i get my chart sorted, then you can post mine! I'm in a bit of a dilemna at the moment as i am trying to get the vedic sidereal chart sorted...and i am nearly there (conflicting software the vedic astrologer is using and the software i have been checking with).

When it is sorted out, and i confirm my details, where are the charts to be 'stored'? does it mean we can look at each others charts and discuss?

chinkey, not sure, but i dont think alot of us would have a clue how to read a vedic chart........with your birth details (time, date and place) , you allow people the chance to draw up the chart they are most comfortable with.

Seems everybody wants their charts read! as usual. I have no idea how to post my chart up as I'm still not successful at getting an image up next to my name, I tried several times today and failed.

I just stumbled onto this thread and wondered what has happened... I got 404s on all the links.

The reason I'm so interested is that I'd like to find Astro "Twins," people who were born very close to our birth times, with whom to compare life experiences.

I did meet one once. We were born on the same calendar day, but half a world apart, and she didn't know her birth time.

It was ironic; we were so planet similar but house different...

Both of us:
have bad self image
had a domineering father
have a sibling of the same sex
were worked mercilessly by our fathers
watched our siblings get the spoils of our work
had the same sexual preferences (but as we are both pretty ugly, I never
followed that one up)

As she was born later than I was (Today in Australia is tomorrow in Philadelphia), her Su/Sa/Ne T-square is probably a bit tighter than mine (3, 4, and 5 Cardinal). Therefore the self-image and father issues.

I just have wanted to find more for comparison.

Has your database survived? Can one access it? Are there others out there also interested in Astro Twins?

Hi Leo Virgo, if you draw a chart in the www.Astro.com (http://www.Astro.com) online, they will give you the choice of input for these things as well as for fixed stars. Have a look.
