Who know's about Vesta? Where can I learn about Vesta?

I've Googled to try and find information on Vesta but there seems to be an extremely limited amount of information regarding it.

I've read it has to do a lot with energy levels and this makes sense because recently I've been a lot more lethargic than usual. Some say it has to do with the development of one's sexuality but I have also read about it being connected to devotion and energy levels.

Vesta is currently just inside Taurus which is inside my 1st house and heading towards the position of my natal North Node, Vesta is actually almost opposite it's natal position on my chart. Which is in my 7th house conjunct Pluto.

Go to astrotheme.com and plug in your birth information. Make sure the show asteriods box has an x in it at the bottom and it will show you. Move the mouse over the asteroids and it will tell you which one vesta is.

I've been going on astrotheme for years. I understand the basics of Vesta, I'm wanting some a more detailed explanation or a place where I can find a detailed explanation. There's not much written about Vesta anywhere on the net.

Well if there is not much written about it, this should be telling you of how important it is....

for sexual energy look at your natal Mars and aspects..

OO,

Have you seen the material in this link?

I used to get her daily blog as a subscription, but something happened to the feed. I really should try to re-establish it, as she was very knowledgeable.

In Graeco-Roman mythology, Vesta was the goddess of the hearth, both in people's homes, and of fires kept in public shrines. In both capacities, Vesta was revered as a protector, of the home and the state, respectively.

The Romans didn't have too many virgin goddesses, but Vesta was one, along with Diana and Pallas Athena. Apparently the keepers of Vesta's public shrine had to remain celibate during their period of service, but once it ended (as I recall, around the age of 40) they were free to marry.

This may be why Julie Dembowski sees asteroid Vesta as dedicated to a higher cause. Where I think sexuality might come in is that an adult female virgin in ancient times was someone whose sexuality was under her own control, vs. a married woman whose sexuality was basically under the control of her husband. Vesta may represent sublimation of one's sexuality in pursuit of a spiritual life.

I would think that asteroid Vesta would also have something to do with the concept of "hearth and home" and protection.

Thanks. That's making a lot of sense. Goddess of the hearth has to do with Fire which has to do with having energy. I can understand how Vesta is said to have a link to dedication, higher cause and sexuality.
