View Full Version : All my planets semi-sextile to themselves

I have two questions standing out in my mind.
1- According to my solar arc, all of my planets will be semi-sextile to themselves on Aug 2, 2009, including mc, ac, and true nodes. Should I be freaking out. I've read that when you have 5 or 6 planets making minor transitions to themselves, that could be significant, but nothing about all of them.
2- How significant is it when lovers have sun sign in moon sign relationships? Is that like soul-mate love? I've read a little bit about it, but I was just wondering if that mix tops them all.
I've been studying my own chart for about three month's now. I'm learning a lot. I think I might have empath qualities, it would explain a lot. I think I might be a lot smarter then I ever gave myself credit for, and I think my intuiton is also a lot stronger then I ever gave myself credit for.
Mostly, I'm just trying to figure out why I seem to know everything about my life. I have definantly seen my fair share of self-realized prophecies. My most recent one is my marriage. Good ole Saturn return. I'm afraid I might lose my husband to death if I don't leave him. I hope that is an imagined fear. I really don't like to think about that, but it's their. I don't want to leave him, he's perfect. But I can't help but feel that it is time to let him go.
These feelings that I get are hard to deal with sometimes, and they never, ever make any sence. And they always seem so impossible. Sometimes I think I would be better off not knowing, but I do so here I am trying to make sence out of it all.

Firstly Solar Arcs dont use semi sextile cos their such a minor aspect. its only conj, squares, oppositions hon....
It would be most helpful to actually post your chart as most of us are visual people
Your Asc in Pisces depending on the degree is prob getting a T Uranus hit

Plus again your MC in Sag over past few years was transite by Pluto, that could have been death of family member, career, relationship and more....
Synastry quesitons sounds ok and rather promising.

Personally I dont belive in Soul Mate, cos for good OR bad it means you come together to Learn certain Lessons with this person.
Saturn acts as cement in synastry and you need at least 3-4, again if their bad, its tough love and learning again...
Really we need to SEE your chart. Go to www.astro.com (http://www.astro.com) to get it calculated for Free, free horoscopes, half way down page to Chart Drawing takes you to input page, go back to free horoscopes then down to Extended chart drawing, change from default placidus house system to Equal house, then ratio has to be 63% click proceed, right mouse and save to hard drive, then upload..

O.K. I tried to get a link to it on here, but it said I had to post at least 3 times before I can do that, so here I am. I have no idea how to upload, so I'm going to see if I can figure that out.
Thanks for your response astrologer50. I appreciate it.
I got the solar arc directions from Astrodienst. I also got the Transit calender for the next 6 months for myself. And yes, I seem to be experiencing everything exactly as I should be.
My husband and I never fight. One night I wanted to go out and he gave me the exact response I anticipated. I flipped out, he flipped out, we kissed and made up and went out together. The next day I was looking at my current transits and ran across "violent reactions due to jealousy and possessiveness provoked by partner." I don't remember the planets involved. Needless to say, I'm a believer.
Up to date, I have lost no one close to me to death, but it has always been a child hood fear of mine. I hope that's all it is. I hope it's nothing more than death of a relationship, but I just don't see how it's all gonna end, unless I end it.
I believe in soul mates, but I think we have many. I have a hard time believing in a forever kind of love, nothing lasts forever.
Family duties are calling. I will be back later to see if I can get my chart uploaded. I'm also going to see if I can get my solar arc directions up. Until then I will give my birth data.

I went to astro and downloaded my chart as you suggested. I just noticed the difference between equal house system and Placidus.
In Placidus, Pluto is in h7, Sun, Uranus and Venus in h8 and Mercury and Neptune in h9.
In Equal, Pluto is in h8, Uranus, Venus and Mercury in h9 and Neptune in h10.
I wonder how big of a difference that makes. I've got lots of reading to do. There is so much to learn.
I'm having computer problems right now, I can't upload anything, anywhere. I have a link to it, so if you would like to see it, I'll put it up. It is the placidus.

Hi,
In 2009 you will become 30 years old.
Solar Arc directions are theoretical movements of the planets EXCEPT for the Sun, that are based upon moving every planet at the same rate(arc) as the Sun (solar). As the sun moves at the rate of approx. 1 degree per day, 30 days after your birth it will be at approx. 30 degrees from its natal position. The other planets will also be approx. 30 degrees from their natal position. In astrological terms they semi-sextile themselves. Yet it is possible that they make an aspect to a natal planet that differs from the natal aspect. A sextile may become a square, a square a trine, or opposition an inconjunct. So, although semi-sextiles don't do much in themselves as an aspect referring to effort required, their S.A. positions may well be suggestive of outer events in one's life where that required effort becomes necessary:p .
Even though they are theoretical calculations, planetary S.A. directions have a canny way of hitting a target. The angles aren't so trustworthy.
The TRUE motion of planets is found in the secondary progressions. The progressed positions for the 30th day after your birth = the influence during the 30th year of life WHEN they aspect something in the natal chart. You will see that Mercury and Venus may even move faster than the Sun's daily motion, Moon races through the chart, whilst the slower moving planets hardly change position. Such aspects often refer to life changing situations.
E.g. S.A. Venus to Mercury may bring about a meeting/communication of importance during the year in question. Sec. progr. Venus to Mercury will bring about a meeting/communication that will have a direct change upon the course one's life takes.
I've been studying my own chart for about three month's now.
Astrology is a lifetime of learning experience.
There is no quick way in attempting to run before you have clearly made advancement in taking the first steps that allow you to become confident in walking steadily. Astrology works the same way.;) :)
