 Hi people,
Would someone help me to understand: in a horary questions about relationships, what can mean Saturn in seventh?
In many questions in these days Saturn appeared in seventh, ruling the eleven ( fifith from seventh )...and I wonder if i could mean something about the personality of the person I´m wondering about or some specif event...
Interpretations wellcome here!!!
Thanks!!!

If Saturn is the significator of the querent (so, Capricorn or Aquarius rises in the chart) and the question is a relationship question, Saturn in the 7th just shows the focus of the querent...on the relationship.

If Saturn is in the 7th and it is NOT a significator, then you would be advised to proceed with extreme caution...Saturn in the 7th does not bode well for the astrologer, and the interpretation is likely to be 'not very accurate'.

Well, but if is the astrologerthe own querent?
In this case, i wonder about Saturn in Seventh with Capricorn in 11th....
Could it mean some trouble for the people represented by 7th coming from 11hh?

Is Saturn always bad in horary???

hi

your question is interesting

cause one of these days i posted an horary chart about relationship and saturn was in the 7H and representing the querent..me.you were one of the persons who helped me look at it :)

so by what archer said:saturn in the 7h means my focus on the relationship TRUE

but i also saw in some sites about horary that some astrologers dont read horary charts when saturn is there...why?

But Saturn in the 7th should always be noted with some caution. Saturn is the planet that signifies difficulty, blockages, and obstacles. In the 7th, even if Saturn is the significator for one person or another, it should be read with even more caution. Think of it as a 'red flag'.

Well Deirdre,
what i know is if someone asks something to the astrologer and Saturn is in 7th, according to the ancients, the chart is non-radical ´cause 7th rules the astrologer ans Saturn there means an error in a interpretation or in a calc.
:) Well, it´s what i´ve heard , we´re all learning here!
Thanks!!!!!

Is Saturn in the 7th invalid if you are not a part of the question?

Saturn in the 7th means that it is the astrologer isn't capable to interpret the chart.:(
I'm not making a judgment on your ability. That is what it means in any horary chart.

No it doesn't. It has to be read in the context of the chart. Saturn as a significator in the 7th does not invalidate the chart, or the reading of the chart; it shows Saturn's interest in 7th house matters. ;)

If Saturn is NOT a significator, it does mean 'read carefully', as Saturn is a planet of obstacles and difficulty, but it doesn't mean the astrologer can't read the chart...however, the astrologer may not have all the information to get the most from the chart.

:o Your probably right. And I like your interpretation better.
(I am only vaguely familiar with horary and I got that interpretation from Debbie Kempton-Smith's book: " This usually means the astrologer is not fit to read the chart.")

Debbie K-S's book is a great place to start (in fact, that's where I discovered horary!), but that interpretation of Saturn is a bit simplistic. If you get Saturn in the 7th and you are beginner in horary, then the advice is 'read the chart slowly and very carefully'; you might miss something. But once you are comfortable with horary and the various meanings of Saturn, there is no reason why any chart is 'out of reach'...but some questions certainly are better avoided.:)
