What significance do retrograde planets have on an individual? Is it any different?

Although the retrograde motion of the planets is simply an illusion from our perspective here on Earth, I believe most astrologers would agree that this phenomenon indeed alters if not the energies of the planets themselves, than the way in which an individual may experience these energies in his or her lifetime. The influence is more subjective and personal, for lack of better terms.

I am sure that others will be able to provide a much more thorough explanation of this, but at least I tried :wink:
