Asked the question on Tu., March 28, 2006 19:41 pm in Brooklyn, NY(US)

Hope that's all the information you need. I tried to interpret myself and I saw that the main significators me (venus) and him (mars) trine which I'm happy about but the moon and sun I think, are combust which for me blows up any hope of us getting back together, Right??. Also Saturn is detriment in Leo in the tenth house and conjunct the MC. What does this mean?

I started dating this guy over the summer, am very interested (a little obsessed) in having a relationship with him but it's always been on/off to my frustation. Should I give up?

Umm. I'm sorry but I believe the answer is no.

See, I've used a different approach than yours. You are not exactly in a serious, commited relationship, so I think he belongs to the 5th house, not the 7th.

You are Venus in Aquarius in the 4th house. Your significator has accidental dignity. He is Jupiuter Rx in Scoprio in the 1st house, also having accidental dignity (although less than yours because his significator is in his tunred 9th house). Accidental dignities give the impression that the people involved to be in the right place at the right time so to speak, but shows no particular, personal merit on their part.

Although his significator in your 1st house shows his interest in you, there is no application between the significators. There is no collection or translation of light either. This gives a "no" answer.

In fact, the only planet that Jupiter Rx is applying to is Mercury, the ruler of his turned 5th and 7th houses. There's a chance he may be pre-occupied with someone else, an ex probably.

Sorry.

Interesting, thanks for the interpretation. I didn't understand why the houses were turned I assume it is because Jupiter is in retrograde.?

As far as your assessment, yes, he's always having trouble with his x wife in one form or another.

You also said our significators are accidentally dignified so that indicates people who are just in the right place at the right time but I have been really trying to start something with this guy so for me at least, it doesn't quite fit.

Thanks again.

prookie,

A turning houses means counting the houses starting from his first house.

Let's say I want to know about your money. I'll look at the 2nd house. But If I want to know about his money, I'll use his second house. That is, I pretend that the 5th house rules him is the 1st house and starts counting from there. This is called tunring the chart. IT has nothing to do with any planet being in Rx motion.

About the accidental dignity, I didn't mean that you were at the right place at the right time. I meant that accidental dignity means something like that; circumstances that brings people together or make things happen but are not merits of the people involved.

In your case, the acciodental dignity could mean something like he's close to you simply because you happened to be there when he needed a friend, or you like he him because he came a long when you were in need of a relationship. Things like that. I cannot figure out where the accidental dignity is translated in your real life though. If you really want to know what it means, you have to figure it our for yourself or give me some more background information to work with.

If you have more questions, do not hesitate to ask ;)

Hope I've been helpful.

Thanks for your time and effort.

The more I think about your interpretation the more it seems to ring true. I do have a couple of questions.

Venus (my significator) squares jupiter (his signifcator) so doesn't that siginfy it might happen but not without some difficulties first?

Since the planet mercury is in his turned first house wouldn't that indicate he's thinking about himself and not someone else?

many thanks,

Prookie

That would be true if the aspect were applying. In this horary, it's separating. That's a no.

I wouldn't put it that way. A planet in his first house means that the person signified by that planet is interested in him. In this case, it's probably the ex.
