actually i do want to ask this one as well
now that i think about it
the ac is ruled by venus or taurus
if my question were life purpose and true path then my question would be connected to venus, or venusian types of work, like an artist for instance
part of my question to seek clarity in what i am working towards or have been for a long time
i am a singer, composer, dancer, actor, i do any kind of fairly well
now i really want to throw myself into it full force but i want to make sure this is my right path, i think it is but i guess i am afraid and it does not help that my family thinks i should be doing something more practical with my life to help me survive

Hello Worldspice! I dont know what the house is which represents "life path", but we can figure it out differently. Just look where the ruler of the Ascendant is placed in this chart. You are the Asc., ruled by Venus . Now look in which house Venus falls and in which sign. That could give an indication of which direction you should go (I think). Will see if I can find something in the rulership book. Life purpose and true path brings Jupiter and Sagittarius to mind, but I will check.


Well, I have looked it up. Apparently one's life purpose can be seen from the Moon's position and the 4th house.
Life principles fall under the Sun's reign.
I would look at Venus and her position and because the Moon always co-rules the quisitor, also at the Moons position in house and sign.

I would also look at the Sun. The Sun is the primary significator for 'life force': a person's heart (both physical and spiritual) and vitality are the Sun.

I would also be inclined to the 9th house: the house of higher knowledge, dreams, and 'that which is given by God': spirituality and beliefs and all that stuff.

But ultimately, just listening to yourself and discovering the things you are passionate about, are a better bet than a horary chart. There's no knowledge out there that you don't already contain within yourself.

From the additional information you have given, you appear to mean your occupation. Mercury, Venus and Mars are the natural rulers of this. Look at their connections with the 1st and 10th houses and the rulers of those houses. Venus rules the performing arts and Mercury writing. As you point out, Venus rules your ascendant which indicates that you are already on the right path. If these planets have essential dignity or are in favorable houses all the better.
