View Full Version : Inspired by Draco: Do aliens exist?

Hello everyone,
My question was inspired by Draco's question regarding our planet being visited by those who are commonly known as aliens (http://astrologyweekly.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1368). Dracos' question was:
Are extraterrestrial intelligences in visitation of our planet?
Now, to someone as skeptic me, this question sounds like someone asking; "will my husband be handsome?" when it is not for sure that they will get married. First, I would need to ask a question like "Will I get married?".
Now obviously Draco believes in intelligent life outside planet Earth. To be honest, I'm still reluctant to believe that myself, even with all the UFO information available. Sometimes, I'm totally with it and other times I'm against it by all means. So I figured maybe I should ask this question:
Does intelligent life exist in our galaxy outside planet Earth?
At first, I wanted to use Draco's chart to answer this question, but I wasn't sure if this would be correct. So here's the data of my question:
29 March 2006, 11:50 pm, Cairo, Egypt, GMT +2 30n03,31e15
The chart is at the bottom of the post.
I found it intriguing that I got Sag rising, just like Draco. Pluto and the GC are not on the ASC though, but they're in the 1st house, which is pretty close to his chart also. I don't know what to do with the rest of chart though. This question is just out of my league.
Any input? Also, it would be great of we could compare this chart to Draco's

Oh my God, Nora, this one is interesting too... you guys keep me plugged in with these horaries. I can't look at it now, gotta go to sleep (1:23 am now)
Just to mention that there's a similar horary question on this site here: http://www.astrologyweekly.com/more-horary/ufos-exist.php ("Do UFOs exist?")
It'll be interesting to compare these charts and the information contained therein.

Hi Nora,
I love this question!
this question sounds like someone asking; "will my husband be handsome?" when it is not for sure that they will get married. First, I would need to ask a question like "Will I get married?".
Fair point! However, if the querent did ask if their husband would be very attractive, and it was unlikely that they would ever marry, then would the not chart just say, 'no, he won't be'. Of course, the querent may then think that they would marry an unattractive man, but that is because they did not ask if they would marry in the first place. So if the chart was to say no, then this is just because it was all it was able to say, and if the astrologer was discerning enough, might the response not be, 'no, he won't be, but perhaps this is in fact because it is unlikely that you are to marry because........'?
Radu,
I can remember reading your chart concerning the question "Do UFO's exist?', and I was very much unsuprised that the chart answered in the affirmative, because the fact that there are sometimes objects in our skies (or sometimes on the ground or in the sea) which are unidentifiable and defy explanation is a well documented fact. The question is what these unidentified flying objects actually are.
The question may have been more revealing if it had been asked, "What is the true nature of what Unidentified Flying Objects actually are?"
Come to think of it, by having phrased that question I have just set the time and place for a horary, for the record here is the data for me having just wrote that question:
02:07 (yes, I'm such a night owl!) St Annes, England - 3W2 / 53N45 - 30th March, 2006.
I will be off to explore this horary as soon as I have finished posting here, and it may deserve a thread of it's own and a chart for reference - I am eager to see what it will reveal.
Would 'unidentified' make the quesited the 12th cusp, as a hidden and indiscernable thing? This is what I would feel like going with.
Nora,
In light of your question, "Is there intelligent life elsewhere in our galaxy?" I am wondering what cusp to use for the quesited. Intelligence would correspond to the 9th, for knowledge, but 'our galaxy' would be the 4th as it is our home. Yet 'outside planet earth' would be the 10th, for it is that which is opposite to our home territory.
Given the confusion, I will just opt for the 9th as the quesited, as this is the house of 'foreigners' and 'knowledge', so it would tell us something about intelligences beyond our planet within the galaxy.
The 9th cusp is in Virgo, so the quesited is Mercury in Pisces in the 3rd, but to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure how to go about interpreting this. Mercury shows intelligence, but it is in Pisces, exile and fall, so is this saying no?
Mercury is in the 3rd house of brethren, so if they are in our galaxy are we related to them?
I'm actually not too sure how to go about this, so let's see what Radu has to say first.
I'm not just being lazy, I just don't want to dig myself into a hole.

Nora's question - Does intelligent life exist in our galaxy outside planet Earth?
Whatever it is out there, far away in the space is a 9th house matter. So the intelligent lifeforms Nora inquired about are represented by Mercury in Pisces. Pretty good symbolism: intelligent (Mercury) aliens somewhere in the galactic space (Pisces).
The mutually applying trine between the 1st and the 9th house rulers, Mercury and Jupiter gives you the answer: a big YES.

Way to many planets and galaxies out there. We aren't the only ones living here.

Ya honestly, at the risk of sounding like a jerk, does this even need to be asked? We already found micro organisms on mars and there is evidence of water at some time, which leads me to believe there was an atmosphere of some kind at some point. Life can exist without sunlight or even carbon based structure, or any physical matter.
All it needs is energy
