Did he hear me tell him Happy Birthday?

There's a guy that I thought things were going to work out with, and I still have strong feelings for him. I hadn't talked with him in almost 7 months. But the other day was his birthday, so I called and left him a simple "was thinking of you, knew it was your birthday, so "Happy Birthday" type of message.
I thought I'd do a horary chart for it when the the thought hit me a few days later, wondering if he'd received it, or if it had gotten erased or something before he had a chance to hear it.

I found the horary chart most unusual. I kind of did it originally on a lark, but after seeing how odd it was, and how I could make no sense out of it - I decided to post it.

Okay, my take on the chart:

ASC is Cap, so I'm Saturn at 19*Virgo in the 8th. (?!) If you take him as the other person, he is cusp of house 7, which would be Cancer. So, he is the Moon at 27*Taurus in the 4th, conjunct Algol ( My house!) My communication sig is cusp of 3rd, so Mars in Scorpio at 28*Scorpio (in his turned 4th - his house!) Moon (him) is approaching an exact face-off with my communication sig - IN each other's houses ( We live hundreds of miles apart). His turned 3rd communication sig is Venus, which is at 1*Cap in the 12th.

The Moon (him) is in a separating trine from Saturn (me) in about 7 or 8 somethings. This seems to coincide with when we were looking like we were getting back together - but then "kablooey!" The last time we spoke was 4-27-08, which is only about 6 1/2months ago. The 7/8 something time significator definitely seems to correspond to when we were getting closer. I don't think you'd count the contact to Venus in Cap, since the Moon entered Taurus before Venus entered Cap, although the Taurus Moon did make a sesquisquare to Venus in Cap. The Moon and Venus had just trined at the last degree of Aries and Sag right before both entered Earth signs.

The last aspect the Moon makes before leaving its sign is the opposition to Mars in Scorpio. Unlesss of course, you count the inconjunct to Pluto at 29* Sag in the 12th, which is in an out-of-sign conjunction with his communicator sig of Venus at 1*Cap/12th. End of the matter sig is also Venus in Capricorn.

How do you interpret HIS communication sig, being the end of the matter, being in my 12th house ( his turned 6th)?

It all looks strange to me, especially with the face-off involving Algol.

What think the rest of you?

Also, I forgot... the Part of Fortune is at 21*Cancer in the 7th, which sextiles my sig of Saturn at 19*Virgo in the 8th. I'm still hung on why my sig is in the 8th- and an intercepted one at that. ( And of course, his turned 2nd)

Anybody have any clues on any of this?

Well, let's simplify this.

The moon and mars are aspecting by opposition (conflict, tension). Now if we didn't think the message got through to him, we would expect a square aspect. So by this I say yes he received it, but did not like it for whatever reason (mars is in moon's fall).

Now he hasn't chosen to respond back, we see this with venus being void of course, and being in your twelfth house (venus is semisquaring mercury, which supports this). Venus is restricted by saturn -- saturn is his eighth. He has worries about contacting you. Saturn is disposed by mercury, he doesn't want to harm himself in the process.

Your question:
I'm still hung on why my sig is in the 8th- and an intercepted one at that. ( And of course, his turned 2nd)

Anybody have any clues on any of this?

Saturn in the 2nd -- the presence of you in his phone, in his turned chart. For your chart, the worry that his phone did not receive the message.

Okay, let me get this straight..... His comm. sig is Venus... OK. It is restricted by Saturn - that's me- in his 8th house. It is disposited by Mercury, which is in his house (Turned 4th) and in terms of my comm. sig (Mars in Scorpio) Did I get that part right - "terms"? Mercury rules the 6th- his turned 12th. I wonder if this has anything to do with his drinking problem? ( Mercury in Scorpio in the 12th. He has a tendency to open up when he's drinking, but at the same time, thinks that he should be able to quit drinking before he and I develop any kind of emotional bond. Maybe he thinks I'm judgmental of him because of his drinking (Mercury dispositing Saturn, which disposits his comm sig, Venus?)

Also the "Mars ( in Scorpio) is in Moon's fall (Taurus conjunct Algol). He seems to have it in his head that I should "marry a rich man" - and he is not.

I'm still very curious about the presence of Algol in the chart. Also his turned 10th is his mother, which is my "home" chart, so he is in some kind of connections (face/terms, etc - don't know what you'd call it) of me and his mother, and he is conjunct Algol. His mother also has a bad tendency to try to intercept our communication, which is partly why I asked the question to begin with.

I was pointing more towards the significance of mercury ruling his twelfth.

I'm still very curious about the presence of Algol in the chart. Also his turned 10th is his mother, which is my "home" chart, so he is in some kind of connections (face/terms, etc - don't know what you'd call it) of me and his mother, and he is conjunct Algol. His mother also has a bad tendency to try to intercept our communication, which is partly why I asked the question to begin with.

Not sure of the algol connection (which as far as I know is supposed to signify a situation that worsens), maybe his mother will interject more. But mercury would reach the moon before saturn does, so the real obstruction seems to be twelfth house related matters.

If venus is mother, it's interesting that she's slightly intercepted by mars in his 3rd house, which would be your message.

If it makes you feel better, I think Saturn is the strongest planet in the chart still, which means, you still have some upperhand to the situation, though he (the moon, as well as outcome of the situation) is in his mother's sign it makes sense that she has some definite influence.

Ok, Mercury is in his house, but is ruling the 12th. ( He was drunk in his bedroom at the time I called?:rolleyes:) What do you see the 12th house matters as being?

That would make sense if the sig was in his own house, but it's in mine - and we have no communication - and like you said, it's in his mother's sign. I would take the "slight interception by Mars with his mother" as meaning the message did get past her.

Thanks again for your assistance, RA - and the good wishes. I don't know what's going to come of this. I guess it's in God's hands - not too much it seems I can do about it. I do miss him like crazy though.
