Here's a post from Goca (fensi88) on Is It Safe to Post This Information on the Forums? (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1376) that may explain why no one has answered your horary chart yet...don't worry, I made the same mistake

I just want to say that I hate all that posts with chart with deleted data and usually do not answer on them, because I can not put data in my astroprogram and so I can not get all nessesary data for read chart (planet dignities, fixed stars, Moon aspects and so on). So if yoy want explanation for your chart, please provide data, it is much easier for someone who want to read that chart!

This is so funny...you live in a city/town bearing my real name--Beth!

Anyway, here is the horary chart using the Regiomontanus House System and 50% orb reductions:

The ASC is in Virgo so you are signified by Mercury in Pisces in the 7th house.

Mercury is essentially debilitated but accidentally dignified by being the 7th house. This placement shows your interest in a more serious love affair that the current friendship situation.

The 1th house cusp is in Cancer, so he is signified by the Moon in Aquarius in the radical 6th house (the turned 8th). In both cases, this is accidental debility. The Moon peregrine but is received by Mercury by term.

This situation shows you're interest in a relationship with him. He Either doesn't know how you feel about him or he doesn't have the gutts to ask and find out for sure.

There is no applying aspect between the two significators but there's collection of light through Jupiter Rx. Jupiter is afflicting the significators by being in Rx motion. The last aspect the Moon makes before leaving this sign is a sextile with pluto.

I think neither one of you has the gutts to start something, but the collection of light shows that someone or something will bring you two closer together which will create a chance for you to make this relationship something more than friendship. I believe the answer to the question is yes. However, Jupiter is not benefic in this chart, it's almost a malefic. The very same thing that will bring you together will be the thing that drives you apart. Besides, it's collection the Moon's light through a square, not a trine like Mercury. There's a big chance that you'll break-up witha fight (Square, last lunar aspect is Pluto) and you'll even feel good that the relationship has ended (last lunar aspect is a sextile).

Thanks arianmaverick for putting the chart back up correctly.!!

Sorehearted
I think neither one of you has the guts to start something,...

Well that's for certain and the fact is we have known each other for 15 years. We are deeply close, but if he's waiting for me to get the guts or to do something, he can absolutely forget it. Maybe I think about it ...

I always put him in the 7th house. Maybe that is wrong. I know 11th is "friends". We are not lovers but alot more than friends--sort of a tortured unrequited romance.... At any rate, if he represents Jupiter, it doesn't change anything does it?

PS-- Never heard of Jupiter being a malefic even if it is retrograde....learn something new everyday!

Thanks for your help!!

Well, I used to use the 7th house to signify my own close friends as well. I figured that since I thought about my relationships with them to be sort of one-on-one things rather than group relationships, then the 7th house would be more appropriate.

However, I have recently read a part in a book that firmly said that as long as there is a house to decribe the current, official relationship, the astrologer should use it. The 7th house should be used for serious commitment (like marriage or couples who are living together) or to signify an undescribed "other person".

If we use the 7th house in this chart, the answer would be yes without collection of light but you'd still break up because Jupiter is in Rx motion and will eventually go back to being direct. Well, I suppose the interpretation doesn't change much, but I'm convinced with what I have recently read and believe that the interpretation based on using the 11th house will be more accuarte.

Keep me updated please.
