Dragons in Chinese Astrology

I'm not saying all Dragons are like this, so no offense to any Dragons on the site. Its just I was wondering if anyway has had the same experiences as I have with people born in the year of the Dragon. From my friends, relatives, or people I just know, I've noticed that the ones that are Dragons, tend to lack common sense. Most of them excel very well in areas such as mathematics. But outside of education, they tend to be childish and do stupid things. Stupid things like not understanding that after putting an electronic device in water for the purpose of cleaning it does not mean it will work afterwards. Or playing catch with a pair of sharp scissors by throwing them at each other is not the brightest of ideas. (2 of my friends, both dragons did this. Result one of them had the scissors go through their hand)

I'm just wondering if I'm not the only one to experience Dragons that are like this?

Hi Niflhel,

The animal of the year someone is born in only represents a small part of four pillars or Ba Zi system of Chinese Astrology. Its like doing simple Sun-sign Western Astrology, it only gives you a very small part of the picture. The most important thing to know is something called a "day-stem". The signifies the elemental energy on the day a person was born. Some examples would be "yin wood", "yang fire", "yang earth" etc. So, if you check it out you are probably not an Earth Snake, that may be your year-sign but not your day-sign.
