Transits though progressed houses?

I know that watching the transiting planets move through your natal houses is important.

What I was wondering is, is it valid to watch transiting planets go through your progressed houses?

Also, is it ever valid to use them for house rulership? Like maybe if you've got some planet transiting your venus, and natally venus rules your 7th house, but it also rules your progressed 6th.

I don't think I've ever seen these done, so I'm thinking no? I kinda hope not, haha, cause then it just gets more confusing.

Progressions especially personal planets sun through to mars are important internally as to how the personality is developing, changing, maturing. Dont think progressed house are important, unless you talking progressed Asc or MC onto a planet, coc that gives an opening, opportunity for that planets energies to be expressed.
