I'm 30 today but not excited - Saturn to blame?

Today I turned 30 but instead of looking forwards I'm feeling quite dispirited and confused. I recently had my Saturn Return in the Second House, so can I blame that? I read that Saturn is supposed to solidify things and make one more motivated, but I'm still unsure of where I'm heading in life - what I want to do for work, whether I want children or not in the future. I've yet to get my sh*t together. I'm a lazy Libra for sure.

However most people I know who have moved into their thirties seem to have gotten themselves sorted out, they're wiser, married, got a career; so I do feel like I'm in the minority - my Leo Ascendant got something to do with it perhaps? And I don't feel 30, I feel 16! I'm really just a big kid at heart and I've been single for years.

It would be great if you could take a look at my chart and share your thoughts. My dob is 22 October 1978, 12:30am, London, England. Any future predictions would be great too!

Yes, I think it does. My daughter also has Aquarius on her 7th house cusp and Leo Asc. Last longterm relationship was 6 years ago.
It seems difficult for Aquarius DEsc. people to commit or if this is not the case, than to marry later in life as Aquarius traditionally is ruled by Saturn.
Also possible an older man, same as with Capricorn on Desc. or Saturn in 7.

I am very much older than you are but also feel like a teenager sometimes so I would not worry about that either. It is wonderful to entertain "the child within" sometimes:)

If it makes you feel better. I have similar thoughts. I am 29 and already had my Saturn Return awaiting my 30th birthday 8th of May next year. Tonight I had a dream that I deceived myself in that way that in my emotional level I am not 29 but 20. Maybe its about some generational transits so its not only individual thing. This thought makes me feel better. I'm not that good in astrology on which transits would make us feel this way though.
Thanks for writing this - I would not know that other feel the same. Lets live this transit together. Hopefully in the end we learn something and things could change.

I am older than you are and in a similar situation. Don't worry about time passing by ... take one day at a time. Saturn returns are difficult times, but this too shall pass. Be happy, live your life, for yourself ... for its the only one you have.

I am having my Saturn Return, I am 30 at the end February 09 (blood curdling screams lol). Under my return I got some more responsibilities, a new house with a nice mortgage to pay, a job to help pay for the house. Usually I leave jobs after a week (Mars in Aquarius 6th) but have had to stay in work and learn to take my responsibilities seriously. I have handled it all pretty well. Look at what other transits are happening in the whole of your chart to see a more accurate picture of what is happening in your life. Many people seem to isolate the Saturn return reading to just sign & house placement. If there are other BIG transits going on at the time of Saturn returning you can generally predict how eventful it will be.

Leo signifies the child inside, and Leo/Asc are said to be young at heart people, who may even have a childish manner/behaviour. Take this from another Leo Asc;).

I haven't had a look at your chart, but can say that, yes, you can 'thank' your Saturn return for all of the above. If anything, a Saturn return makes you go through your life's 'balance sheet', where we are forced to stop and think, what we have achieved so far and what not- and, more importantly, why not? Happy Birthday!!! Hey being 30 is not so bad. I'm 50 and not even middle age yet... ha! I'm convinced that I will live to be 120. So I have 69 years and 10 months left. :D Actually I'm immortal.
