My moon is in scorpio (fall) in the 6th house and conjuncts my pluto in scorpio (rulership) also in the 6th house. What happens when a fallen planet and a ruling planet conjunct in the same sign and the same house?

I would interpret that as it is part of your life's purpose(chart ruler) to transform the energies inherent in that sign, and "take the high road", concerning the manifestation of these energies. Being the sign of Scorpio, I would say it involves purging oneself of negative emotions and abandonment issues, while developing deep emotional connections with others. It would also involve not using sex in the place of these things.
Being the Moon is involved, it may involve mother/female issues, in particular.

I agree completely with FLs interpretation.

A fallen planet tends to display it's negative characteristics until transformed or conditioned by planets that move slower than itself. Here then, Pluto's intent will be to get the Moon to display the positive qualities of Scorpio - as pointed out by FL. However, how difficult this will prove to be depends upon the natal phase relationship between the Moon and Pluto. If Moon is ahead of Pluto (in New phase), it will be harder to make the necessary changes than if the Moon is behind Pluto (in Balsamic phase).

I too have this placement, however my moon is in the 7th while the pluto is in the 8th. My mars is also in the 8th in Scorpio. Would I also take this advice?
