Draco

Hi all,
Just out of interest, do any of you who are members of other forums use the same forum name as you do here, or do you always change it?
Personally, I always like to use the name Draco wherever possible, the only time I cannot use it is when the name is already taken, and at such times it will always be some variation of 'Draco'.
I just really like the name Draco. If I had a son I would call him Draco. My real name is Peter, or Pete (which you are welcome to call me if you like), but Draco is what I would like to have been called.
I have noticed that some people like to use a different name for different sites, but I am always Draco wherever I am.
Most of you will know that Draco is a Northern Hemisphere constellation, a very long one, which is quite difficult to see if you live in an area where light pollution is prevalent.
'Draco' in Latin, means 'dragon', 'devil' or 'serpent'. It is very significant to me because I am very fond of snakes, which I consider to be my animal totem, the mythical concept of the dragon fascinates me, and I am something of a devil at heart. He he.
I was just wondering why you have chosen the name that you have, what does it express, and do you use the same name always on the net, or do you change it always and why?
Draco the Dragon (but a benevolent one  )

Hi Draco,
It was never my intention to go onto a forum, but I have used a Dutch site called Ariesastro, which is the Dutch branche of Astrodienst, to get my astrological data, and on this site were links to other astrologysites. One of them was Astrologyweekly, and then I discovered it had a forum, and got onto it,using my real name. And my real name is Johan.
I also discovered another forum, and there I use the name Legolas. It is a character out of the book of Tolkien, the famous Lord of the Rings, which I use to read long before the movie.
Legolas is an Elf,and Elves in the book are a very special race.So I am using this I think because I see it as my betterself, who I would like to become.
I am afraid I have a very imaginative mind with Mercury in Pisces with a trine to Neptune in Scorpio.
So the avatar I use here and on that other forum is a picture of Legolas.
I have browsed to other forums, but I didnot found them interesting.
It is more than enough for me,Astrologyweekly and the other Australian forum, both enjoying them very much!
See ya,
Johan
Lapis

Draco,
Yes I always use Lapis wherever I post. I think it makes things so much easier really. I wish everybody would use the same user name.
Lapis for me is connected to past or alternate life I had/am having  in ancient Egypt exactly opposite our now on the great zodiacal wheel of Ages. It also relates to the 8th dimension or Orion star system of which I have a strong tie to. The 8th dimensional Orion being who came to Egypt back then (with 2 others) to build and anchor certain things, used Lapis Lazuli to represent his home, Orion.
I've wondered if you have an affinity with the Draconian (?) system and beings?

I love dragons. I have a whole mythology surrounding dragons I've told my brothers children. Hopefully someday we'll find the real ones.
Anyhoo... my name is Laura Elizabeth. I think I'm either Laura Elizabeth or lemcclatchie (incorporating my last name) anywhere on the net. I'm not exactly creative when it comes to naming things. One all black cat is "Raven"; the other, a tiger kitty, who is never still, even when not moving, is "Fidgit" because... he's a fidgit. The third cat is "Pewter"... care to guess why? :D
So, I just use my name because I'm not creative enough to come up with anything else. Even though I'm a gemstone collector, I never would have come up with Lapis or Aquamarine or Sapphire, or my personal favorite - Mawsitsit - to use as a user name because, I guess, I don't think that way. And Lapis' and Johan's or Draco's thought processes wouldn't have occurred to me either. Maybe it's Mercury in Aries? I'm just not a creative thinker. Like Popeye, I am who I am, so, I just use my name.
It is, however, a long one to type. Most people shorten it to LE or LEM.

I actually change my name from forum to forum, depending on my mood at the time I was joining the forum. The day I joined this forum, I was frustrated w/school! It really depends on my mood that day.

With a fixed grand cross, I keep two names; Empath and observant.
Maybe I'll add two more names at some point so that I have a face for each direction of the Internet!

I used my real name and email for years on one site. Why hide?
But I got so fed up with the spam, that when we changed providers I took to using the pseudonym. Good grief; I've just realised. I did that when Mercury (ruler Asc. Who I am?) entered Pisces. I've wondered why it made me feel 'awkward'. Mercury's turned direct.
Hi, I'm Christine.

While I don't use my real name, my location is for real. I live in a town called Laurel Springs.
What amuses me is that on the forums where I post as "observant", there is always a presumption that I am male! This affords some sort of scorpionic maneuverability -- I never pretend to be male, but people think they are reading a male's perspective. Maybe my Aquarian ascendent is talking when I write as "observant".
I like using "Empath" because I am one (whether I try/want to be or not), and my first initial is E. On some boards "Empath" is already taken, so I append my first name and become empath_eileen.
So please feel free to call me Empath, Eileen, or just E.

That's always fun! I was presumed male on this forum for a while...it must be all of that masculine Arian energy in my chart
I sometimes browse Lindaland (http://www.linda-goodman.com/cgi-bin/ubb/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro&BypassCookie=true), but I've never actually registered with another other astrology besides this one

I tend to use either my Hebrew name or my legal name on most websites. My Hebrew name is what I am growing into so I use it for more esoteric sites and my legal name is what I use so I do not confuse my friends and family.
I've used Kite because my chart has a couple of kites but in liberal orb. The only Air I have in my chart is my Aquarius Rising so I imagine the Kite is a way to feel like more air beneath my wings
Anyway, some people have thought I'm female but I am male with given name Steven. My photo is posted in the photos thread.
I've used Kite a couple of times and will probably continue on Astrology boards. I've used my given name other places.

Lynns

I always use Lynn, or some variation of my name, because I can't really think of other names. I have used some nicknames before and stuck to them, but I didn't feel they particularly represented me.
Thus, I always use my boring ol' name, even though i'm sick of it sometimes.. but I stick to it.
