I've been researching astrology for the last couple of months and have the basic knowledge down pact. However, i am completely lost as to putting the information all together...does anyone have suggestions of possible websites to visit to learn more about the whole and/or possible website(s) that talk about houses, planets, medium coeli etc....

PS..can anyone assist me in the reading of my chart.

tjay,

Since this person has most of their planets at the top of their chart, they tend to focus on the outer world more than their inner world.

Since this person has more of their planets at the top left of their chart, they use what they know about the outer world to develop themselves.

This person has, for the most part, a bundle chart:

From Tracy Marks' "The Art of Chart Interpretation:"

Bundle pattern - "All planets are contained within a trine - 120 degrees, or...a maximum of 130 degrees...self-contained, focused personality who resourcefully concentrates...[their] energy upon a limited area of life, indicated by the signs and houses occupied by planets...This individual...has the capacity to develop...[their] resources to the utmost. The...[the first planet to have crossed the ascendant, moving clockwise] often indicates energy which may be used to achieve in the area of life indicated by the far midpoint of the bundle."

The first planet to have crossed the Ascendant is Neptune (spirituality, also confusion), indicating they might be "spiritual" in some way, but could also be confused. The far midpoint of the trine is focused on their Nadir (inner world), indicating that they may be trying to develop themselves inwardly. This could be a challenge since, as mentioned, they have most of their energy focused in the outer world.

Since Jupiter (expansion) is NOT part of the bundle, they may work hard at trying to be "expansive" in some way (in an effort to combine Jupiter energy into themselves).

For more about basic astrological interpretation, regardless of astrological knowledge see:

Wow, another Jupiter rising! LOL. This place is crawling with those. :P

Your Jupiter rsiing isn't any ol' Jupiter rising - it's a singleton. It's the only planet you have in the persoanl houses, and it's the only air planet in your chart. You might be wish to read up on what that's all about:

http://www.astrologyclub.org/

Just scroll down and you'll see several articles on singetons.

Thank you for that wonderful resource, Lunar Pisces! I had an idea that my Pluto might have been a singleton, but since I was unsure of the actual definition of the term, I read the article titled An Introduction to Singleton Planets (http://www.astrologyclub.org/). It turns out that Pluto is a four times singleton in my natal chart--by modality, element, sign orientation, and house orientation!

I found my chart so useful, that I decided to create a similar one for TJay to aid him in his astrological studies

As Lunar Pisces mentioned, I find it significant that Jupiter is a singleton by both element and house orientation and Neptune is a singleton by modality. In addition, 10 out of 13 points are in the social sign orientation while none of the planets are in a personal sign! There is also a significant emphasis on your universal house orientation--9 out of 13 points are there--and the yin spectrum of polarity.

I hope this helps! :D

Tjay, I see that you have a Very tight Chiron (14 Gemini) - Uranus (14 Sag) opposition, houses 5 - 11, Chiron likes to invent the rules (and teach them); Uranus likes to break the rules! This gives some dynamic tension to your chart and I think is the springboard for a lot of creativity and expression, especially involving groups of people.

Aries is the traditional ruler of the first house, but I believe we are very fortunate that not everyone has an Aries Ascendant like me :P

Don't worry about the sign/house correlations for now...just focus on what sign and house a planet is actually located in

Thanks ArianMaverick!

Is there any negative things that stands out in my chart?

Is there any negative things that stands out in my chart?

I believe that any placement of a particular planet has both positive and negative potentials to manifest in an individual's life. Indeed, it is difficult to pinpoint the influences that may describe any aspect of an individual's character because I have found that there are often themes...I will have to spend more time analyzing your natal chart

TJ-

What stands out about your chart is not a negative or a positive, it's more like "very blue" or "very green" -- you've got a lot of water-earth emphasis, both in signs and in houses.

You asked about Aries house and first house, etc. Aries is the first sign, and the first house is called the Aries house. Aries is a fire sign ruled by Mars, and the first house is a fire house ruled by Mars. So the 10th sign is Capricorn and the 10th house is the Capricorn house, etc.

Anyway, you've got a lot of planets in signs that are frequently analytical -- either psychologically analytical, or analytical like a craftsman, a dentist, a carpenter.

And, BTW, old ladies like me say the Rising Sign is the Ascendant, (on your chart, this is Capricorn) so you will get different stories on that.

Anyway, you've got three personal planets in Virgo, which is analytical like a dentist, and three planets in Scorpio which is analytical like a psychiatrist. Your Ascendant is in Capricorn, your Scorpio planets are in the Capricorn house -- 10th house -- and two of your Virgo planets plus your Leo Venus is in your 8th house, the Scorpio house.

Another sort of "theme" is that your Midheaven ("MC") is in Libra (ruled by Venus) and your North Node is in Taurus (ruled by Venus), which might make you appreciate beauty in unexpected ways, or it could make you very good with money (these are Venus qualities.).

C Jayne-
Thanks for that inside information...I do believe I am too analytical

I'm really trying to accumulate knowledge about my chart and learn more about the general stuff in astrology so that I don't say the wrong thing on these discussion boards.

What's the "wrong" thing? Hey, I've got this Aries Moon and Capricorn Mercury -- I spit out wrong statements all the time and only realize it half the time!

Analytical isn't bad, it's just analytical! Some people are happy, which can mean shallow, or can mean happy!

Join the crowd -- it's okay! You're just a little shy -- which doesn't mean too shy, it just means, a little shy!

You're right i am shy, sometimes i have very little faith in my capricorn ascendant as my first impressions range from intimidating to shy/quiet and people always ask me whats wrong when i dont have a problem with smiling in fact i like to smile. It seems that we all contradications but I'm always about self-improvement and not change, i would like to make myself better but not change myself.
