recent birthday, need help with SR for this year

I am putting both my SR and natal charts, and I am mainly interested to see will the love life improve? In the several past solar returns Venus was always very afflicted, now not so much.
In the first house, in Scorpio, wide conj Mars, no squares or oppositions, could this mean something good might actually happen in the next year? Does anyone see any indicators of a serious relationship?

Sun in 12th house I always read means solitude of some sorts, mnore inner focused year, but a Libra asc seems to contradicts this as it is always said how libra asc is all about relating and relationships.

Also, what is a significance of my natal Mercury being exactly on this SR Asc? I read somewhere that a natal planet brought to angles in SR is to be regarded as important

Moon conj Saturn in Virgo sounds like it could bring some seriousness or coldness of emotions, but it is sextile Venus, with POF there, so it could be good also, no?

Vertex in 7th, opposition Venus? should I look at this at all?
also, what about health matters? Uranus on 6th cusp opposing Saturn sounds scary? falls, breaks?

sorry about bumping this up, but in the light of some new events, I would really like someone to tell me how this SR Chart looks, especially regarding love matters - Venus in the 1st house, conjunct Mars(ruler of 7th) and the Vertex in the 7th - am I deluding myself to believe this could bring some serious relationship this year? or struggles and focus more on oneself?

in light of the Venus position - asc ruler, in the 1st and well aspected, but with Neptune on 5th house cusp - could love be just a grand illusion or can it have something to do with children(miscarriages?), this Neptune placement? Natal 4th house is activated by this SR asc, and you write in the article it could mean pregnancy?
I see Uranus and Neptune are connected, mutual reception between them, and each falls on a cusp of a house ruled by another - 5th and 6th, what to make of this all?

also to mention current transits that I think might be relevant
Jupiter is about to enter my 7th house and trine my natal Venus, in about month or so
and Pluto is transiting the 6th

Hi Hermetic, I am back. Lets just focus on your question which clearly has to do with RELATIONSHIP for the coming year. You want to know if it looks more promising than the last couple of years.
As you know I always look at a solar return chart in connection with the natal one.

Start by looking at the Ascendant. Libra, the sign of relationships comes to the SR Asc. In which house in the natal chart does this Ascendant fall?
It falls in your 4th house of family and exactly conjunct your Mercury. Your thoughts are on relationships (also seen by it's trine to Neptune in the SR 5th) but family issues will be the focus for the year.

Your natal Ascendant falls in Cancer, already a family orientated sign and now combined with the Libra influence for the year,you can see your interest in relationships.

Now look where your natal Sun falls. It is in SR 12, indeed, like you also said,

A Libra Asc. will usually not have an influence over where the Sun is placed and how that Sun feels but Sun is natally also in Libra so there is a connection between that inward sun and how you express it to the outside world. You will be more focussed on what goes on inside you, due to the square to Pluto which will get stronger and you probably will undergo some experiences which could transform your Libran expression. Somehow you are not liking this (a square shows difficulties which you will have to face).

As you can see, natally, your 1st and 2nd quadrant are heavily occupied, which shows that personal needs and interaction with others are most important to you. Ruler Moon in the 7th shows that you need others, a partner.

In the Solar Return we see again the 1st quadrant occupied by 3 personal planets and the 4th quadrant with Sun and Moon placed in there. This shows again focus on yourself (1st.quadr.) and now far less on others. You are now accompanied by a more transpersonal attitude, less social involvement and more inner searching. In the natal chart Venus rules your 4th and 11th and is placed in your 3rd. and Venus is in Mutual Reception with Mercury there, in my opinion strongly suggesting communication skills and a talent for writing. (the trine from Venus to your Moon is way too wide. I only would count the square to Neptune, another indication of artistic talent, musical or literary.

Natal Mars now falls in SR house 2. This shows a connection between selfexpression and earning power. You could earn money through some sort of hobby or artistic talent.
Because SR Mars falls in SR 1, this could mean that you intent to bring this to the outside world.

In the SR chart Venus is placed in Scorpio and in the 1st house, sextiling Pluto (who natally rules your 5th) in 3 and Moon in 11. But natal Venus now also falls in the 12th house of the Solar Return chart and squares Pluto. This shows a deep transformation in the way you give and receive love, great transformation in the home which could be a total redecoration orit could mean the death of a female? person in your family.

Natal Sun (ruler 2), and natal Moon (ruler 10) both aspect Jupiter, ruler 6.I have a feeling that this has to do with your social status or career and your finances. It could be possible that a lot will go on in these areas this year.

Maybe, if you dont have a career, you are thinking of starting one as a writer . Ruler of your 2nd house in the natal chart is now in the 12th (earning money in solitude, by yourself) and squaring Pluto who rules your natal 5th house of expression and is now found in the 3rd of the SR. However, Natal house 7 is ruled by Saturn. In the SR chart Saturn is in the 11th of hopes and wishes conjunct the Moon, ruler of natal Asc. and both trining Jupiter (ruler of the 3rd SR house). This involves houses 11 and 3 which is fortunate for relationships and/or marriage.
But natal Saturn at 22°Libra is now exactly conjunct Solar Return Mercury in SR house 1!!, Mercury is ruler of the 9th. Maybe you could meet a foreigner.

SR Mars, ruler of SR7 in the 1st is also an indicator so there are indeed some signs for a relationship.

About the 4th house being activated, indeed pregnancy is one of the possibilities when you see this, and natal Moon falls in SR 4th house! So oops!! be careful! (if you dont want to become pregnant that is). Neptune in SR house 5 might show this as well and also the NorthNode conjunct the 5th house cusp.

Uranus in the 6th could show changes in the work environment . Moon is well aspected by Jupiter. (Moon rules your 10th, Jupiter your 6th and 3rd). Uranus rules your 8th house in your natal chart and now being in 6 could maybe show an operation.

Uranus opposing your natal Venus could mean a separation from someone in the family or from a loved one, or a change of home, because Venus rules your 4th house natally.

The Mutual Reception between Uranus and Neptune on cusp 5 and 6 could show again work related to artistic endeavor. The trine from Mercury to Neptune in the SR could show great inspiration.

I have no idea if I am right with all this. I usually dont look at Solar Returns, it is too much work. Predictive work by itself is very complicated and I rather keep myself busy with just character description and horary astrology:) Let me know what you think. this, again, has been a theme for a few past months, and I am actually happy to have these shifts of interests, I've been all about other people most of my life. and you are right, I am very relationship oriented, influenced by my asc ruler Moon in 7th.

I am a painter by profession, but I do write well except I never published stuff. I am aware of this talent of mine, I just prefer to leave it to myself. Perhaps you are right and things will change in that department now.

I do not have a career. I am a freelance artist, and earnings have been very low for a while. Still, I am mostly interested about my love life!:p hopeless romantic here;) jk, I hope some changes to happen on the career field, I feel I am capable of so much more than I am doing now, it's just I live in a very opportunity-limited contry and it's hard being an artist and earing from your ideas when everyone is so concerned about money

Uranus in the 6th probably has more to do with changes in the work environment than health issues.

I was merely pointing out what could be seen as a possibility here,generally seen. Sorry about this unclear statement. What I wanted to say is that you do have a chance for romance, but not necessarily for a lasting commitment (the former highlighted statement)due to the lack of 5th house and 7th house both not being very activated (Venus in there or the Sun.

Also about "pregnancy" I was not clear really. If you see natal Moon in the 5th, then yes, very likely. But your natal moon falls in the 4th home and because Moon rules you natal Asc. and now is seen "at home", that is probably exactly what it means. You will be more at home doing your things.

By the way, your Saturn is exalted in Libra. Did you know that? and I really find this conjunction with the SR Mercury very significant. You could really do some writing or more paining. Mercury rules the hands and in a Venus ruled sign, could well point to more painting now that Saturn is trying to "establish" this talent, wanting you to show it to the outside world. Everything else shows this is very possible.

Very often a Solar Return shows exactly what the individual would like to happen but it does not necessarily have to happen. I once had a chart with a full 6th house and the woman just wanted to find a job. Of course we thought wow, full sixth house!! But she did not find a job that year, it was just her thinking so strongly about it. That's why I usually dont rely very much on a horary chart. Also because the birthtime has to be very exact. a 4° difference in the Asc. could mean a year later or earlier in forecasting. This also happened once to me. The person said, oh,everything you are telling me happened last year!! So I had to start rectifying which I also dont like to do. Personally the progressed chart and the Solar Arc projections show basically what you can expect and maybe a Lunar return could show which month is most activated, but you will have to make 12 Lunar Returns first. It is something for people who only want to do exact predictions. I like horary better when it comes to exactness.
