hello :)

I did a chart asking if a job was still mine (I havent signed contracts yet), the Moon is void, but my significator is Mercury going back to combust with the Sun. Sun rules the 4th house.

Does the fact that the Moon is void cancel out the combustion? It shows the end of the matter ruler Sun burning up Mercury, except for the voidness  So I'm wondering, will it or won't it...

Moon is also intercepted in the chart in a cadent house, making it even weaker. And its in Scorpio. Would all that mean nothing more will happen?

Thanks for any help!

If I remember correctly, Lilly says that when the significator of the querent is Combust the querent is fearful.

To be Combust, the planet has to be with 8°30' ahead or behind the Sun.

In this case, with a Void of Course Moon (in Scorpio no less) and a Combust significator, it would seem the answer is "no" or not favorable to the querent, and the querent has little control.

Thanks for replying Bob

Ah I remember that too that combust can mean fear, or hidden things, but fear in this case yes.

I lost the chart now, probably for the best anyway!

Thanks again for explaining

Yes NR, VOC Moon (nothing will happen) and a combust significator together is really a big "no no". Combustion is really being totally burned (3rd degree comparison), under the Sunbeams (up to 17° from the Sun) is like a less severe sunburn, but still very unpleasant. Also the Sun is blinding you, you cannot see clearly.
Hope next time will be better for you!

Cheers, Star.

It can also mean that you have nothing to worry about, NR. Being that you're combust, you're not seeing clearly. This doesn't always indicate a negative outcome; simply that you can't see the situation clearly.

Have hope.:)

Thanks AG :) I'm trying to have hope! I have to go to the job tomorrow where they will see my police caution and decide, but they have 2 good reference from old employers. It could just be me panicking. I'll let you know!

Thanks again

Keep my fingers crossed for you NR! AG is right, it could also mean that you should not worry about it and all will be well. We'll just have to wait and see.
