piscesascendant, I posted this elsewhere. Just wanted to see you got it. This is a unique Arabic Part as it doesn't use AC. This makes its great for using in charts with unknown birth time. Only thing is, if you have it strong, it follows you around the world.

Apart from the name of the Arabic Parts, I have not seen any interpretations. I'm just guessing that in this case maybe Mars or Uranus may activate it. I have not gone to the effort of looking at the charts of people who have been assassinated.

I did a research on John Lennon, since we share some of the aspects. Planet on algol and intense aspects btwn uranus mars and neptune. His assasination part falls in the 8th house [9 sag]. We also share the AC [half degree orb]

I'm thinking of going much depper into this research as dark as the topic might be.

My assassination Arabic Part is in Aquarius, two degrees past my Sun, in the 12th house. (hidden or secretive assassination attempts? ... hmm). It's between my Sun and Part of Fortune (in Pisces in the 12th).

Also, it made sense to me today when I found out that my Eros is in Cancer in the fifth. I've always found sex to be an outlet of comfort rather than strictly a "one night stand" passionate fling. It's nice to love yourself in that comforting sort of way. :)

When it comes to Assassination, you have to look at the chart and figure out the possibilities of why it happens? In the case of MLK.JR for example, it was because he presented a radical idea that simply wasn't acceptable. In Kennedy's case, it was because of a bitter rival/enemy. Both of these factors can be handled if your aware of them. In the case of MLK.JR, you should protect yourself when in that position. In the case of Kennedy. Be sure to maintain alliances and not to go on the deep end of things. Alot harder to do as a Politician but certainly, it's a key factor in being able to avoid the astro-challenge presented in your chart.

Thanks Confusedpisces. What about a case, like say MLK.JR. If he had been aware of what was going to happen if he spoke out, would he be brave and still speak out. Or would he be self preserving and not speak out? Would that have changed the future direction of the world for better or worse?

Misunderstanding? I didn't mean assassination sign, but the Arabic Part of Assassination. I have used Mars + Neptune - Uranus. However I have done no research on this. Just my personal feelings with link in my chart.

The violent death rate hovers at about 19.9 persons per 100,000. That would be 1.99 per 10,000 or 0.199 per 1,000 which as you stated is well above 1 in 12.

Suicide has the highest rate at 11.5 per 100,000 followed by homicide 6.1 per 100,000 and about 2.7 per 100,000 are undetermined.

Of all violent deaths that occurred 48.9% were committed with firearms; poisoning accounted for 18.2% and hanging/strangulation/asphyxiation for 12.2%. The remainder were various accidents.
