The chart below is the time for an event that hapened last night. A person was holding a knife to their body saying they were going to kill themself. The Psychiatric Emergency team was called and the police came. There was an hour of negotiation by the police before the person started stabbing a punching bag with a box cutter knife. The police used a tasar gun to subdue him and he was carted of to hospital.

The thing that interests me is Pluto at the Mc and all the angles of the chart in the same degree as Pluto. Very powerful indeed. The person could be the first house in this chart as it was a meeting event although one could read as the event alone. Mercury has slowed down enough for Mars to catch up with him on this day. In previous meetings with this client Mars was always on the Mc and the 7th ruler always had dignity by rulership as in Venus or the Sun in Leo for example. The situation was handled quite well however I am sure that Mercury became overloaded here. The person exersized their need for power and nobody got hurt luckily.

Would point to Moon in cancer in 4th, a very strongly dignified powerful Moon as the "trigger" maybe. moon First opposed Chart ruler Jupiter and then squared Mars, all incidentally are Cardinal and Angular.

Interesting with the Pluto, taking such an ALL Angle position, you can't deny Pluto's life and death drama. What else happened.. what is the background?

What I note here straight off, is the very late Asc, which shows (as in horary) that the outcome is known/event has reached a conclusion, a fact in this case.

If this person is given the first house, then s/he is Jup in 'fall' in Cap (again this fits, too, as he had to succumb himself to the police). Jup's opposition to the Moon (this person's co-significator) could show that his plans/actions etc were against his wishes, and di not succeed in the end (of killing the self). Moon, however, being in dignity, as well as Jup's (which is the main significator) placement in tenth and conj Part of Fortune might account of his/her not getting hurt (saving grace), and perhaps also the initial power this person possessed (Jup in tenth).

If this person is the first house, then the police can be given the seventh, so signified by Mer- which is though not in detriment or fall, but peregrine- a bit lost perhaps- and the police did negotiate for an hour first (in order to overcome the situation). Moon's square to Mer could again show the eventual defeat of Moon (police taking over the person). Mercury (police) was given strength, power might be more like it here, by its movement to conj exalted Venus, and so were able to negotiate 'amicably' and finally take over the person. Mars (which usually signifies militaric action) conj Mer (police) could again denote power, though Mer is moving to separate from Mars to conj Venus- so 'militaric' power gave way to the 'power of words'. Pluto's portentous angular position at the MC (tenth house again signifies people who have power over you) could again strengthen the aforementioned fact (police overpowering the person), esp as Pluto, from this position, squares (challenges) the Asc (person).

Did this scene happen at this persons home, known surroundings, as this might round it up all by justifying Moon's location in the fourth, and, if you were to get carried away for a bit, even its intercepted position? In fact, the intercepted positions of both Jup & Moon (co-/signifying this person) would go to show that s/he were overpowered by 'power/civil authorities (the latter usually being ascribed to the tenth house).

Just my reading of it all,

It hapened in my counselling room and the 6pm time was the appointment time. The police came aroung 6 50pm but that is not accurate nor has it any significance to the "meeting chart" of 6 pm. I cant tell you the details surrounding my client however the issues are around power-despair. The guy was at his impasse and was doing that with the police; he knew they were more powerful than he was just like his parents. I didnt feel like in any danger even though the guy on the phone said get the hell out of there. This has been building for a fortnight. In treatment charts the mc is the treatment, he revealed some secrets to me about somethings, he was trusting and telling me things that would normaly lay at the bottom of the harbour. Part of death opp Jupiter.

The sun can represent the authority but interestingly enough PLuto/south node = Mars and Merc. Or if you use the Mc/south node midpoint = Mars and Mercury too.

Moon spoke to me about Parents being the cause the "trigger" of the event... through its separating opposition from Jupiter.

Note: IC ruled by Mercury conjunct Mars, square... Moon. they disposit to Venus who is right at the end of her sign... anaretic... in the 8th... life-death... but ultimately still dignified. Jupiter disposits to that Venus eventually through Saturn-Mercury- then Venus.

The late ascendant is most likely that he knew what he was going to do Aquarius. He was stressed enough and pre planned doing what he did. Separating aspects are different with event work and usually Moon - Jupiter is too many feelings in counselling charts. Moon opp Jupiter in natal is always a element of "be strong", be strong for others while not dealing with own issues or the smothering parent.

The Mother rang me the next day and she is oblivious of how she is treating her 42 year old son like a six year old. She was wondering when I might be able to see him again!! Get off freakin the grass luv. Psychiatric help would be good for this guy.
