I have a couple squares to vesta, from my P.moon and venus, to vesta, which are exact within a few days of eachother this month

Progressed moon in the 7th square to vesta in the 2nd &
Progressed venus in the 1st semisquare to vesta
(moon rules my 6th, and venus rules my 2nd and 8th)
Does anyone have any ideas as to what these squares could mean?
I dont know much about vesta

From my experience, Vesta is a bit like Saturn but with a sexual component. I would have to see it in the context of the whole chart but with Vesta in the 2nd, this could indicate tight money, a loss, feelings of insecurity, or self-denial.

Here is a copy of my chart...its a little big...sorry :p
The outer wheel is transits, and the middle wheel is progressions

Well, signs would add a lot more "flavor" to it... but based on what you said, I personally, would look to something regarding "Venus" type issues, since Venus rules the 2nd and 7th houses, and is involved in the aspects. Possibly the square from 7th to 2nd could point to a partner or even open enemy being an obstacle or threat to your finances. (Vesta has a lot to do with security). Could have to do with shared finances, or banking matters, since Venus rules your 2nd and 8th.
Possibly also letting someone else (7th) undermine your self-worth. (2nd)
Possibly a need for a roommate or to change roommates? Since the ASC has to do with the physical body, and Venus is there, making a hard aspect (semisquare) to Vesta, this may also point to some issue with physical safety in some manner, possibly your own mismanagement, or need to readjust something to do with finances, or even talents, and again (on the psychological level) self-worth. Moon ruling the 6th could deal with your daily work, health habits, routine, etc. The Moon is "challenging" Vesta (or that's kind of the energy I view a square as). So something about 6th house issues is challenging 2nd house safety/security issues, maybe?

Hope this has been somewhat of help - just relaying my own experiences with Vesta - I'm no expert. Again, the signs of the planets may be very telling, and a visual would be even better.

Edit: Nevermind, I found the chart ( gee, how could I miss it? Uh, it's Mercury retrograde?) :o

Good analysis. This does look like a loss through another's actions. I would not, for example, co-sign a loan as long as this influence is in effect. As Freedomlover indicates, the Moon carries a 6th House meaning which suggests a colleague or co-worker may try to undercut you. BTW my natal Vesta is in the 2nd House and even though it trines my MC and sextiles my Sun, it is a perennial problem in my chart. I have come to treat it like a Saturn influence.

Gesso,

Some other aspects that I think are tying into this, and may possibly hold more information about options, etc:

Natal Venus, 13*AQ, is pretty much at the mid-point of Progressed Sun and Mercury at 10 and 17* AQ. Transiting Chiron/NN on your Progressed Mercury.(Chiron is moving very slowly until it's station on October 25 at 16'02"AQ, so its effects will be prominent during this time, and especially around the station.)
My "possibilities" as to interpretations for this are: A need for involvement with "like-minded" people, possibly a support group, women's ministry, etc, -(I guess this forum, fits, as well!) Much attention is focused on your Mercury - a need to listen to your intuition/focus on Higher Guidance, etc? It could also show that there is some kind of charity/humanitarian aid for you? That could include food pantries, help with electric bill, etc. And, don't forget, just plain out and out needing help from friends.
Also, Mercury is ruler of your 4th house (Gemini on cusp), showing your desire for independence, maybe ("wanting out"). This Mercury retrograde stations very close to your Pluto at 21'45" Libra in the 9th. (Could there be any need to seek legal advice, or maybe something about the lease?)
Transiting Moon was conjunct your Progressed Moon at the time you asked this question. The Moon in Leo in the 7th could indicate where a partner is "getting all the attention". (Leo rules attention, Aquarius rules those who give it. Hence maybe a group or friends might make up the lack for you?)

The New Moon on September 29th falls on your natal Vertex (Point of Fate) at 6*Libra - within 1 degree orb - in the 7th house. With your 4th being in Gemini, ruled by Mercury, this lesson looks like a fated experience that may turn you onto a new path, be a "wake-up" call of sorts. The anti-Vertex would be at 6*Aries in the 1st - another (freedom/individuality) aspect - also "assertiveness".
Also, Transiting Saturn is sitting on Mars in Virgo.
And one other Vesta aspect: Progressed Vesta is exactly conjunct natal Chiron in Taurus. I don't see transiting Vesta on here, for some reason. Vesta is currently retrograde in Taurus, and will pass your Prog. Vesta/Chiron conjunction sometime in next few weeks. That may be telling.

As to your question about your home and moving, all I can say is: It does look like something is coming to a head- probably during October. Mercury, ruler of your 4th, stations on October 14. (There is a full Moon in Aries at this time, as well.) Chiron, sitting on your Mercury, stations October 25, and my guesstimate is that Vesta will retrograde to the point of the Vesta/Chiron conjunction about the same time.

I'm hoping some with more experience at transits and timing will jump in at this point. But maybe this will have been some more food for thought.
