Hey guys, I'm a newbie to astrology so please bare with me =) I did a composite chart of mine and my bf's natal charts-there is a huge emphasis on virgo. Also, many of our planets are in the first house. Since our natal moons are tightly conjunct (mine is 14 degree cancer, his is 13 degree), the tenth house has cancer and it is isolated-i read in my astrology for dummies book that when a house has a planet and is isolated from the rest of the chart, that house and planet are of paramount importance. Please give me some feedback, this amateur would appreciate it  I used the midpoint method. Thanks so much!!

If for any reason, it does not upload-my birth info is 8/16/1982, 4:30 AM, Elmhurst, NY (Queens), his birth info is 10/22/1978, 12:05 PM, Pontiac Michigan

law,

You asked:
Please give me some feedback...my birth info is...4:30 AM ( I usually use 3:30 because I was born during DST)...

While some web charting programs have problems with DST, Astrodienst does not, so when using Astrodienst always input the correct time. Since you input the incorrect time for both you and your boyfriend, your composite chart is incorrect. The correct composite chart has 4 planetary energies in Virgo (daily work) focused in the 12th house (spirituality, also confusion, idealization) not touching the Ascendant.

Composite charts are charts of the relation itself, not of the relationship between the people in the relationship (a chart of the people in the relationship is called synastry). With all this energy focused in Virgo, this indicates that the relationship is one which calls for daily work or some sort of routine. With the most energies focused in the 12th house (spirituality, also confusion, deception, idealization) it also indicates that, althought the relationship may be a "spiritual" experience in some way, it also could be confusing to the people in the relationship. There is also the possibility of relationship deception or of the people in the relationship idealizing the relationship as being "perfect" and refusing to work on the issues in the relationship. Since the composite chart has all the energy focused on the left side of the chart, the relationship focuses on itself, and may be obsessive in some way.

Guessing,

Tim

work..yea, we are both in the legal profession, hes graduated already. He's always on my case about doing something that I have been procrastinating, usually school or summer internship related. Since he is very religious in a good way, being w/him often feels like a spiritual awakening. I think hes opened me up to certain parts of my soul. Is the ascendant not being aspected a bad thing? I really want to learn more about composite charts. Is the moon isolated have some sort of meaning??

law,

Thanks for correcting the chart and giving some feedback. In doing charts with NO information about the person, I usually am hesitant to overdo the "spirituality" emphases in a person(s) chart(s), since this frequently becomes some kind of confusion. Since your boyfriend IS spiritual, that simplifies and clarifies some things. Actually, the Moon IS tied into your chart, since you have mostly a "bundle" chart. Instead, it is Neptune (spirituality) focused in the 3rd house (thinking, also talking) which is "left out" of the planetary picture. This indicates there is a STRONG emphasis on getting the "spiritual communication" into the relationship. The many squares (energy needs to be combined with) increase this "urgency" of spiritual communication issues.

Spiritually communicating,

Tim
