:D Hi all,

Seems that some of the members are having problem inserting image here and our sweet heart, Aquarian Maverick :D , has been so nice and sweet helping members to upload their charts.

I hope this post maybe helpful to those who would like to try to do it again. :)

There are several ways to insert an image here but try this.

Go to www.imageshack.us(or any other imagehost you like) and follow the steps as below.

First, look at the row where the Browse button is. You can find an option of File and url. If you have your image on your website or other online server, you have to change the option to url, type in the url of your image and go to step 2. Else ignore this and follow the steps as below.

Once the file is uploaded, a new page will load as below.

SG,

OMG.......VISUALS AND instructions! :D Thanks very much for doing this because it helps a lot. I'm envious that you could present this info the way you did. Never enough time to learn all the fun new things it seems! Thanks again and eventually I will figure out how to do this better.

Thanks very much Springup! It is quite late at night at the moment so I dont attempt it now. I just hope I do understand it, will follow your instructions. If I cannot manage, my son who is an IT expert can help me. I will visit him next week, he lives in Portugal. I love to learn all those technicalities but it is not always easy for me. Cheers, Starlink

Profile pictures are different from avatars; you can only view your profile picture if you visit your profile - 4leafclovah (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/member.php?u=6245).

If you want to use your current profile picture as your avatar, visit the User Control Panel (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/usercp.php)--it appears as User CP at the very left of what I call the "Astrology Weekly Toolbar"--click Edit Avatar (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/profile.php?do=editavatar)--NOT Edit Profile Picture--enter the Avatar URL or upload an Avatar from your computer, then click Save Changes.

You should be set ;)

I use image shack, then I don't have to worry about the size of the picture at all.

I right click the chart, save it, open it with paint.net, remove the data, upload it with image shack, and depending on what I want I may just use the thumbnail link, or I may click on the image that shows....then when it opens in a new window I will select the picture...copy it, and paste it in the forum dirrectly.......then the chart is quite large dirrectly on the forum.

I don't like to do allot of resizing for the same reason....the images get too blurry...

IF anyone wants a better paint program there is one here.
You don't need it to do chart editing, regular paint works fine, I just wanted to share a great alternative to paint that's free. I am very impressed with this program.

One of the best free photo editing programs I ever downloaded.
Once again, it's free.

About
Paint.NET is free image and photo editing software for computers that run Windows. It features an intuitive and innovative user interface with support for layers, unlimited undo, special effects, and a wide variety of useful and powerful tools. An active and growing online community provides friendly help, tutorials, and plugins.

It started development as an undergraduate college senior design project mentored by Microsoft, and is currently being maintained by some of the alumni that originally worked on it. Originally intended as a free replacement for the Microsoft Paint software that comes with Windows, it has grown into a powerful yet simple image and photo editor tool. It has been compared to other digital photo editing software packages such as Adobe® Photoshop®, Corel® Paint Shop Pro®, Microsoft Photo Editor, and The GIMP.

It really does look allot like regular paint.
It just has more features and regular free updates.

I really lie this program sometimes for even just looking at charts.
The line tool is amazing.
So I'll upload a chart, and draw in other aspects I see by choosing the line tool, it's by the A(for text), in the box, and I will pik the collor, and near the top set the size of the line to either 1 or 2, can't recall...you can't even tell the difference.
Astro sometimes forgets too add in certain aspects on the charts...don't know why.
For example, I have Jupiter sextile neptune....it doens't show in astro...I could play arround with the orbs, but the other obs of the sme size are shown in the chart, and even those that are wider, so I don't understand why it doens't include the aspect in the chart.

So that's one great thing about this program..I can look at and compare charts in it by having a few open near the top right is the selection between those that are open...

ANd sometimes just being able to wrtie on the chart or draw on it in some way helps me look over the chart...then I can use the unlimited undo function to erase.

Fun program.

If you don't have the money for photoshop, and you want a really good photo editing tool, that loads extremely fast, this is the best I can find out there.
