A question on querent [Archive] - Astrologers' Community

I want to find out if there is any marriage for my friend's daughter. Neither the friend nor the daughter has raised the issue. Only I am curios as an astrologer and erect a chart. In which case who is the querent ? Which house for the friend and his daughter should be studied ? I think Asc. is me and 11H is for friend and 5 from 11 i.e. 3H for the daughter are to be examined. Correct me if I am wrong.

Secondly if the friend himself has asked the question then the friend becomes the Asc. and 5th house his daughter, even though I (astrologer) have cast the chart.

Again, If he is a third person, not known to me, I think, he repesents 7th house and 5 from 7 his daughter. Right ?

You are correct on all counts, Kannan. I would be careful about 'just curious' charts, however...charts seem to be more clear when there is a real 'need to know', as the urgency of the question is transferred into the energy of the chart.
