9th house overlapping the 6th? How do I interpret this?

The chart, where you saw the overlap, would also come in very handy, so perhaps you can pin that up along with your interpretation, too.

Aquarius, in my free time i do as much research as possible to learn about astrology via online and through books so that i don't have to bombard people with questions , but there are certain things i have had problems finding answers to or there is not sufficient info available for me to understand,so i come here hoping maybe someone can help. Sorry if I cannot contribute all the time. If I felt more confident with my predictive skills i would surely pitch in more. Here is my natal and SR if anyone would like to help with my question.

I will take a stab at it for you. I'm still in the rudimentary stages of solar returns, but this is my take of possible interpretations:

In your solar return, Venus is in Aries in the 6th. If you fit that over your natal 9th, I would see that as 9th house issues are going to be affected by Venus in Aries in the 6th issues. Maybe entering in a new course of study, maybe correspondence-style, since you are in Aries (independent). Venus would square your natal Saturn in Cancer/11th - a long trip back to "home" to meet friends - a class reunion perhaps? Venus will also sextile your natal Mercury, so some kind of educational pursuits does seem to fit. Mercury in Aquarius would involve courses taken over the internet, as well as technological training of any kind, including computers.

In fact, you have a whole bunch of solar objects conjunct your natal Mercury in your solar return - NN, Jupiter, Mars, Moon. It would seem that your natal Mercury in Aquraius will be the center of attention in the coming year in some way, am uncertain as to what the 4th house involvement means, other than it may be at a place where you have "roots", or may be going back to something you should have been trained for in childhood.

Just so happens that yesterday I met up with someone who is going to help place me in job where I can utilize my creative talents, so maybe something will come up that is 9th and 5th house related. SR venus in the 6th sextiling natal Neptune(5th) in the SR 2nd house. Maybe something to do with publishing? I guess I will find out soon. Like you mentioned, I may be required to learn some new skills if i get hired. Thanks for your help FL !:)

Ok, its been awhile since this was posted but i would like to try and interpret now!

-3rd house/venus rules chart with Venus in the 6th. Relationships and 3rd house issues will be highlighted this year. I have recently been thinking about pursuing a career in advertising/marketing so this just might indicate that,and with aquarius in the 4th it would also show me taking online classes and brushing up on my computer skills( which i have also been thinking of doing) the sextile from 6th to 4th might show me working at home? It might also indicate me getting serious about my health (aries in the 6th) and finding alternative ways at home to improve my body and mind.
BTW, thanks Freedomlover for your thoughts on my chart earlier..

- SR sun in the 5th shows an emphasis on love, creativity and children. It sextiles Pluto in the 3rd/Capricorn. With the natal 8th in the 5th this could indicate pregnancy, but it could also indicate a secret,intense affair(Pisces) which would make sense since i have recently been tempted by someone who is not available and older(Capricorn) and in my neighborhood(3rd) .It could also mean some really innovative creative work i will be doing on my computer-either work i do to build a portfolio or work i am hired for??

- SR Uranus in the 5th oppose Saturn/11th might be a loss of a loved one-or it could mean that there will be some compromise necessary with some of my creative ideas and they will have to be revised in some way to appease others.

- Stellium in the 4th shows an emphasis on family and home life. Again, relationships highlighted. Venus in the 6th could show enthusiasm for work because it will also help me attain a comfortable home life and the things i've always dreamed of owning.

-Natal Mars in the 3rd square SR ascendant might mean tension in my relationship with my brother or it could mean that there is frustration when i try to communicate my ideas to other people.

- SR Venus/6th sextile natal Neptune in the 2nd: Another indicator that i might be making money through creativity this year.

These are just some of my observations. Would anyone like to add anything or comment?:)

Think your underestimating 4th house emphasis with lots planets their.
Notice your natal Uranus is apex for T Square involving moon 1end and mercury, mars other end. So lots of Uranus energy going on here natally. There is a rathter good thread going on in different forum on Uranus aspects......

SR Asc falls 10th house,(this should be first house of emphasis, then house with stellium ie: 4th house, then 5th house...) which is empty deposited in 5th house

SR is bucket chart with Saturn as handle in 11th, everything below the horizon suggests subjectivity and 3th house communications with siblings, education and family matters being the main issues, themes

With only one opposition with Saturn to Uranus. Poor Uranus again,
freedom v convention. Uranus wants freedom with 5th house matters, love affairs, children creativity and Saturn wants hard work, duty responsbility with 11th house , friends, group activities, hopes and wishs.

Will you put the hard work in or will Uranus break free???

Astro50, yes I have been feeling that Uranian energy strong lately-the frustration of not feeling completely free, like something is holding me back. I do have a strained relationship with my brother so maybe the upcoming year will focus on those issues. I was well aware of the possibility even though i didn't mention it. The 4th house focus could mean several things to me. It could mean re-connecting with my roots in some way, relocating, re-establishing relations with family members or maybe just spending more time at home and working on myself. Presently i am trying to work on my technical skills so that i can find a job using my creativity and i am doing this from home. I also noticed there is a tight square between SR Venus and natal Saturn(6th/9th) Maybe the issue is that my beliefs are being challenged and in some way my beliefs are holding me back-i'll have to think about this. BTW, SR ascendant falls in my natal 3rd, not 10th.
