Ok... I have no experience with Horary... but just had a look at http://www.skyscript.co.uk/horary1a.html and a Julia and Derek Parker book, this looks quiet exciting. So help is needed - but I will try and give as much info as possible, if I have it wrong... please let me know.

The question is "WILL HE CALL ME SATURDAY" (yes a little dumb) but it is my first question, so needs to be easy... now Im thinking I could have wrote will he call me by saturday, anyway  , I guess the question has already been asked.

This is the chart...

http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/imagehosting/647248b281a1e1b1f.gif

My interpretation...

Querent - Is me, Aries is on the Asc and so the primary signified planet is Mars which is located in the 7th house, there are no planets in the 1st house.

Questited - The matter is romance, so its the 5th house, the sign on the cusp is Leo, and the planet that rules Leo is the Sun and is located in the 5th house.

Moon - General significator, located in the 3rd house and the 3rd house cusp is Taurus.

Mmm... now what do I do...

Is the chart now read like a natal chart, concentrating on the aspects from the querent planet, questited planets and the moon?

Mars (which is me) is square Pluto and Jupiter, and has a conjunction with Mercury.

The Sun (which is him) is trine Pluto, conjunct Saturn, and is opposite the True Node (is that used in Horary?) - but by a large orb.

I have just read that when the rising sign is 27, 28, 29, 0, 1 and 2 degrees the chart is invalid, but there is an exception... if the querant is between 27 and 30 years old... im 29... so does that make the chart valid?

I still havent got an answer though for myself... Im picking up that it doesnt look that good with those squares directed at me, although he seems to be sailing... just.

Any direction is appreciated. Where do I go from now?

From a very very very beginner... can you tell? lol

I would just use mars for you and venus for him. The 0 degree implies it is too early to tell or the question is not serious:) But Since Taurus is ruler of the third house or venus and the moon is there I think we are on to something. The outer planets are more descriptors like Pluto might describe transformation or intensity, neptune that you are being decived or imaging something, urnaus that something unexpected will come into play. Saturn and jupiter are the only outer planets used in horary. It does not appear that mars is connected to venus EXCEPT (yeah) through merc. That is we actually can see what is called a translation of light...I think that that is what that is....merc is separating from venus ( he is on venus team being in venus triplicy) and carrying (or applying) the baton to mars. Since merc ususally represents a young person, or office worker or some such and they are in the 6th house of work and health I wonder who the merc will be. I do believe you will get a message about him ...he might be sick? or working and the reason why I say this is if you follow the moon applying aspects the last one ( I am not going to consider pluto for a minute) is a square meaning frustrations. I am not sure what pluto would say. Anyone else? pluto in the ninth might mean travel? or some change in plans? or legal matters? Keep us posted. I am learning myselff so I need help too.

lol, well the question wasnt fully serious I was just trying to think of something to ask that I hadnt already asked myself before about him (and I am a thinker)... i coudnt remember the exact time and day I thought of the other questions, hahaha...

Thanks for your reply... I understand why I am Mars because of the Asc, but why is he Venus?

Mmm I wonder what is up with him? What you have said has hit some points of what I discussed with him last time we saw each other... but I guess i cant say anything until he contacts me and I find out. I think he was having problems with work and staying in Australia.

Mmm now Im think what is happening with the Moon / Pluto Opposition... is this counted in Horary?

Please don't take my remarks too seriously, as I am not expert at this. My impression is the issue isn't well developed yet and is changeable(0 deg asc). The opposition of Pluto/moon is probably significant although use of Pluto is not traditional, because they are each in your respective houses of everyday thoughts and communication. Oppositions usually mean contact that is regretted. Mercury being between you (Mercury is not fully masculine or feminine) probably means an issue rather than a person stands between you. My view is hope that communication happens at a later date after other situations have developed more fully.

the question is not serious

Actually, that's not quite true. :) It means the question is premature, as Moondance noted, or the querent doesn't have all the information.

Kerrie, the ascendant *is* very early. As well, the Moon applies to square Venus, which rules both the guy in question as well as the third house, ruler of communications. The Moon is placed in the 3rd house as well. This is enough to tell me 'no', he won't call on Saturday.

However, because of the way you asked the question, he may call on Friday or Sunday!;) He might either be ill or busy on Saturday (6th house).

Cheers,
AG:)
