That's the question.
Except I asked by the end of the year as well just to give the question some closure.
Never did a Horary before, but this event could play out over some time, I do not expect it to be instantaneous but maybe soon...
I am posting it to work on it later....nobody has to work on this chart, I'm not even asking, I would like to come back to it later though....I had some time to post it, and had just asked it...posting it online also helps me stay objective, it puts the chart out there, for now I like doing that and it does give me something to come back too, so I hope no one minds if I post this and work on it later when and IF I have the time...things are hectic.
OK...
Here it is...I think I did everything OK...question should be OK, Right?
Attacking with an armada is a big event so it is sort of a yes or no question.
I am hoping this will be a fun chart to look at and I'm not hopng for fireworks....There are a few things I do not like about the chart...but, that's how it goes i guess.......

I removed the Location...if anyone needs it they can ask and I will see.
I could post another chart with other options as well...that is a possibility but it would only be an astro.com chart.
IF a member asks no problem....but if your a guest, good luck.....unless you are really really good at horary.(laugh)...I'm moving soon anyway, and ahve been very very bussy with that as well...so...anyway.
Pluto ASC is interesting...2nd house Pluto, mars(10H) square to pluto and 4thH uranus.......chart ruler can be mars or pluto...depending who you are....or both.....I want to look over a few horary things before I take a poke at it...so expect an extended period of time...but for some time, I have thought of trying one out...it is neat that I can work on this as I go allong, as i pick up a few things, I have a place then to place my ideas on ...it hels me to keep it in front of me...put it out there....and anyone else is more then welcome work on it..I don't care.....I don't expect this event to be tommarow, but maybe soon....maybe longer...maybe never....I thought it an intersting question.
Later,

On first impression I thought that the Moon was Void of course, but it applies to a Square with Mercury.
I think that you have an answer in this chart if you look at Mercury, Mars, Pluto and Venus.
It's going to be a Precision bombing Mercury-trine-Pluto with Gemini in the 8th and Virgo on the MC. Virgo means that it's been planned some time ahead. It's calculated and clean, it is efficient and meticulous, with all the reasons and words already prepared for the Media.;)
Scorpio Ascendant contains a Scorpio Moon.
Scorpio Ascendant: We also got Mars applying to a square with Pluto, both Ascendant rulers. I don't know what that means... look to the house of Aries, the 5th and 6th.
Mars is exact in its square with Pluto in 4 degrees and I think that because it is mutable signs, this translates as 4 weeks, though it could be four months. I know fixed signs signify years in horary.
The Moon in 1st applying to Mercury is one indication of a yes.
But one more factor is the 7th house ruler... which is Venus. She applies to Saturn in Fall.
Also I haven't mentioned Sun, intercepted in the 9th. I'm not sure how to interpret that one, applying in opposition to Neptune, chiron and Node, could signify bombing something that doesn't exist. bombing on the basis of a pack of lies, just like Iraq.

Hi there,
I think first you need to decide who gets what house. Does the US get the 1st house and Iran, the open enemy, the 7th? Or is it vice-versa? It depends on whose side you support.
I reckon the answer is 'no' anyhow; Mercury blocks a translation of light between Venus, Mars, and the Moon. The Moon is in fall and has no strength; it will be peregrine in Sagittarius, so again, no 'oomph'. Venus is in fall, Mars is peregrine, both are beholden to Mercury - this is war of words, no more. Venus applies to Saturn, ruler of the 3rd of negotiations and communication; and Saturn is hardly a facilitator. This is more like 'sanctions'; if we give Iran to Venus, this would speak of a public dispute about sanctions. It's all guff and bluster, as befitting two countries currently ruled by 'macho men'.

I think it's worth a little look at the US chart and the Iranian Chart. Iran's current political structure was created 1979 right?

Yes, I noticed the fallen Moon in the 1st right away, not a good placement, nose-diving the energy of the 1st house. The Iran war effort does not hold up image-wise in the world, and the trine from Uranus promises some surprises (global - Pisces - collective mind 12th house stuff,) from the world. I agree with the summation, and don't think the oil he-men are going to get their war.
(BTW - been seeing more air-powered smart cars around town... loving it.)

This Chart certainly speaks to me of all sorts of behind the scenes dealings! With Moon in Scorpio making so many aspects to the other planets, I think we are seeing the influence of all the different Countries in diplomatic moves both for and against going to war with Iran.
I am more concerned about Israel and Iran going spare on each other. It might be far more likely that Isreal will take the first shot rather than the USA. Now that definitely concerns me! :(

wow are those cars real, they are amazing.
Are they Hydrogen powered? Wonder if they can make a sports car that runs on the stuff. That would be amazing.

For a short explanation, suffice to say that the US shifted from a Western-Style of war-fighting to the Soviet style of war-fighting in 1986 with the adoption of the AirLand Battle 2000 Doctrine.
The Doctrine places heavy emphasis on surpise and speed. An "armada" sailing toward the Middle East with heavy internet discussion around the world is neither.
Yes, the Roosevelt most certainly did particiapte in Operation Brimstone, but it is still in the western Atlantic and currently headed to port for the standard 90-day down-time before it departs just after Thanksgiving Day to head to the Persian Gulf and relieve one of the two carriers on station there.
Neither the UK nor France figure into whatever action the US may take against Iran, except to the extent that both are charged with the protection of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
It might be better to simply ask will the US use ground troops to invade Iran before year's end, rather than include allied forces.
The US may have already "invaded" Iran with special operations groups to gather intelligence and prepare partisans (such as the 90% Arab population in Kuzehstan Province bording Iraq and Kuwait), which would show a heavy Pluto influence with appropriate aspects.

I don't know what to think on this now....
I've done some extra reading....I have begun to recognize how completely ignorant I am on this...there is allot I didn't know...might take me some time, I am a bit suprised by how much I didn't know....how fun is that:).

It's a real issue. Most people have been told that the first shots of the US Civil War were fired from Fort Sumter on April 12, 1861. That's false. The first shots were actually fired a few weeks earlier when a US navy vessel was escorting a supply ship to Fort Sumter. Several of the Confederate coastal batteries fired on the ships enroute to Fort Sumter.
Did the current US-Iraq conflict start in March 2003? Or in October 2002 when Congress declared war on Iraq?
Did the conflict between the US and Japan start with Pearl Harbor? Or when the US levied an oil embargo against Japan, which was an act of war at the time? Or when Japan initially planned to attack Pearl Harbor?
If you're doing a marriage natal chart, does the marriage start when they are pronounced "man and wife?" Or when the marriage is consumated?
Something else I've noticed. Conflicts can be indicated by trines and sextiles, as well as squares, oppositions or semi-squares.
