Hiya,

I know the nodes are ready to go into the Virgo/Pisces axis...... I have 26 degree Virgo nn. Any ideas or experiences on how the transiting nodes affect your natal? They are affecting my 2nd/8th (nn) houses. I can grasp a nodal return but when they are in opposition by transit...... karmic, yes but ..... I really don't understand.

Right now, I have pluto squaring them in my 12th house.

Thanks..... tb

Nodal return or inverse nodal return links us back to our past. We can meet up with someone from our past. Nodal transits tend to be about linking / connecting with others in some way. We can meet up with old friends partners family members etc

What I experienced with the reversal of the nodes was that I was in a situation of the s.node's meaning that needed the n.node's meaning to experience it.
In your position with transiting Pluto square the nodes, you are at crossroads in your life's journey, so to speak. Pluto (your power of will) is requiring that you open your 12th house cupboard under the stairs ( in your mind) that holds all your lower level collective pre-conceived convictions, prejudices, philosophies and beliefs (Sagittarius) that have guided the course of your life until now, and discover what is necessary for its further path and what you can dispose of as excess baggage. The choice is yours. You can either stick to an old pattern, as shown by the 8th house S.node, in which you may have felt yourself to be a victim of your circumstances, possibly in fear of penniless chaos, and the ease of surrender to give up trying. OR, you can move towards the N. node in Virgo that allows you to see the reality behind those circumstances, and to value your own worth in the new knowledge (Pluto in Sag.) gained from them. Hopefully you will realise that, whatever happens to you, you can stick it out and manage o.k.
You will feel the nodal aspect in the 8th/2nd house realm, which could refer to dealing and living with a change in financial situatons. When self-worth is achieved as a result of those situations, you will place different values upon your life and become stronger for it.
The SN in Pisces refers to everything tangible that one is (or has been) willing to relinquish in favour of the intangible nature experiences of oneness that is felt to be guiding one's path. The NN, through Virgo, requires a living reality of this experience in order to become aware of the difference  Planets to the nodes will obviously add their influence reagarding the continuing journey.

Thank you Frisiangel and Natasha. My life has went thru drastic changes within the last few months mostly. I just been thru a neptune conj sun transit. I know that this is the time to change many of my perspectives which I am (thru much effort and pain). With the node transit and now pluto is conj my 26 degree Jupiter. 12th and 8th houses are playing prominent roles (saturn will also be entering the 8th soon).

I know I am heading where I want to go but the process and my ego are pretty much being shattered.

From a mundane perspective, the Transiting Lunar Nodes also forecast coming "eras" in the world. Each nodal return of 18-19 years runs the solar system like a "clock" and marks each individual "era."

For instance, the coming transits of the Lunar North Node in Pisces, and the South Lunar Node in Virgo by 22 June 2006 to 18 December 2007 - is a presage on the transit of Saturn in Virgo, and Jupiter in Capricorn - highlighting world events from 2008 to 2011.

Look to the month of December 2007 and the dates before the Winter Solstice of 22 December of that year - before the Lunar Nodes change quality from mutable to fixed - see that Saturn retrogrades at 8-Virgo on 19 Dec. 2007 and Jupiter enters Capricorn on 18 Dec. 2007 -

This highlights the era from 2008 to 2011 - which marks a series of celestial events that range from a Saturn-Uranus opposition; a Jupiter-Uranus conjunction; a Jupiter-Saturn opposition and Pluto's entry into tropical Capricorn with a following Uranus ingress into Aries, and its long-running square with Pluto in the 2010s.

The South Lunar Node's transit through Virgo from June 2006 to December 2007 highlights Mercury-related issues through the transit of Saturn and speaks to the economy, health, and work-related issues.

The North Lunar Node's transit through Pisces highlights Jupiter-related issues expressed through Uranus and speaks to matters also related to health, spiritual, religious matters, and hidden issues revealed by the coming Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Pisces; Uranus opposition to Saturn, then the coming Jupiter-Saturn opposition.

The world economy is highlighted. Expect a recessionary climate in the decade of the 2010s. The Lunar Nodes presage this through the transits of the Jupiter, Saturn & Uranus. The mutable quality of the Lunar Nodes' transit in Pisces/Virgo asks us to prepare for the 2010s by saving monies from 2006 to 2010 and preparing ahead of time for the economic stresses between 2011 to 2018, overall.

OK. That transiting true node in Pisces is eventually going to oppose my natal true node in Virgo (well, me and many of my friends). What should I expect?

Hi. Lots can happen when the tr nodes make aspects to a natal planet or midpoint. You have to look at your chart as a whole, the transits it's making. Good things can happen. The tr nodes relate to eclipses. This is where much activity will take place during the year. Virgo/Pisces nodes relate to health and spirituality, the H6/12 axis. Pluto is the natural ruler of H8. This could relate to secret activities, people from your past, many things. With H12 let go and let God, or go with the flow. Take the spiritual high road.
