View Full Version : So, I'm going to have a stab at an introduction.

Okay, so I've always been seriously bad at these intros. If I'm being honest, I'm only writing all this because I need three posts before I can post up a chart URL.

All I can say is I'm 14, from England and have a relatively... well... okay knowledge of astrology considering I've only been looking into it properly for about six months, whenever I can fit it in. I'm not sure if there's other members of my age, if not I wouldn't be surprised if I lack credibility.

I've always been drawn to astrology and similar things. After reading a full description of what it is to be Virgo, I've found my fascination growing. I've looked to many sources to get a deeper understanding of my natal chart and those of others.

But the natal chart is really as far as I've got; now I'm finding it hard to get my head around the subtle relationships and how it all works together as a whole. And I do want to learn that because from what I've seen the additional insight you gain is of great value.
Then I may continue to other branches, like horary, but it must be said my main interest lies with natal.

So maybe joining here could help. I've heard it said (though I'm not sure where) that other people can impart knowledge reference books cannot. I'm putting that theory to the test.
Plus - it's just interesting, talking to other people who study it and knowing that, as certain obnoxious people from my school have tried to impress upon me, I'm not a "freak" for it.

^ Well, that was my stab at an introduction.
And I forgot to mention it, if it's necessary - my name is Hannah.
So... I'll probably see you around. *Lame Ending*.

Hi Hannah,

You are welcome here no-one will judge you, as long as you join in with your own ideas and analysis.

Your inroduction was pretty good. I never actually bothered to introduce myself, just joined in and people responded to my ignorance with open-arms.

So you need three posts before you can put up a chart? wow. I have about a hundred and haven't put a chart up yet. Might do a horary one of these days...:)

Hi Moonriver! Very nice introduction you gave us, nothing seriously bad about it at all, on the contrary. You are young but as Sandeep Sskoli says, the younger the better really, it does show that you have a serious interest and that is most important. Welcome to this forum and enjoy all the new information that will come streaming at you. Take your time familiarizing yourself with all the different forums we offer and if you have any questions, just PM the moderators.
Cheers, Starlink

Hi hannah!

Welcome to the forum. I'm a virgo myself :)
Ah yes, you cannot study astrology if you don't interact with people and other astrologers a lot; even when those interactions are not always nice you learn. Eventually, you'll need them to get ahead in your study as well. I think you know that very well, you've already put on the white lab coat :D lol. If you didn't tell us you were a virgo, that'd be a good guess from your wording.

I'm only writing this because I thought that was funny and because I'm a lametard that never seems to have anything interesting to say to people that do not have a chart element in common when they introduce here. :D

Rasalhague the drunkard (I've actually noticed now that I've picked my screen name after a fixed star closely related to Neptune).
Neptune is not my planet! wtf...
