I'm not sure if this is the right place for this thread, so feel free to have me move it or move it yourself...
I have noticed that animals have certain characteristics when it comes to their sun signs, just like humans!
My cat is a Virgo. He throws up a lot, has always hated his belly getting rubbed, he freaks out if the house is messy, he always smells really good and is very clean, and sometimes, he stares at me with this critical look...well, he does it a lot. He's super smart, hates hyper and young cats, and if I smoke cigarettes in front of him, he will look at me with this, "You b*tch..." look and walk away. :p
Has anyone else ever noticed that their animals fit their sun signs?

Definitely! My basset hound, Remy, whose birthday is 6 August is a Leo dog if there ever was one. He is constantly seeking to be the center of attention, has a very regal walk, and even stands on his rock in the backyard as if he were king of the universe. I've dubbed him "King Remy" because of the last point.

That is so cute!
It's like he's a little Simba, standing all royal-like on his rock! :)

That's a very good visualization and it is really funny to watch. It just brings a smile to my face! :D
Another really interesting behavior that Remy has is that he can sense when it is about to rain: he will bark and pace to be let out right before it storms so he can go out into the rain. I know his approximate birth time and he has four planets in water (Mercury and Venus in Cancer, Jupiter in Scorpio, and Uranus in Pisces) which just happen to be placed in the 4th, 8th, and 12th houses!

I have 2 cats that were litter mates. They are both Cancers. They are the most loving cats I have ever had. They come out to get attention from all visitors - there are NO strangers to these cats. Obviously from a water sign, they LOVE water. They prefer to drink water as it drips out of the faucet rather than to drink out of a bowl. One of them often looks wantingly at the water dispenser on the fridge.

My cat is an Aries and is always quick to throw his head around for petting. He also likes to initiate play fights, displays quick spirts of energy (runs through the house at top speed) and loves to be in the mix of things. Like if people are hugging, he shows up at your feet wanting to be picked up and group hugged too. He is so sweet. Although he is a house cat, I let him keep his nails long so he feels extra good about himself :-)
Edited to add that he has the softest fur I have ever felt. I ask him all the time if he is part mink lol.

There is a "Pet astrology" if you google it, you can find it. If not, I can try to post a link.

Everything is ruled by Astrology, from humans, to animals, to trees. Everything that is under the stars, is thus ruled by Astrology. However I would definately not apply human Astrology to any animal or pet. Many animals are ruled under one sign specifically and do not change. For example, a ram is ruled under Aries, regardless if its born in March or November.

Well, if we are not to apply "human Astrology" to animals, what is the point to bother with humans either if we are both "animals" ;)?

I wouldnt think this was the case. I had a cat that was a Piscean and my dog is a Cancerian... I definately think that they have their own birth chart and need to be compatible with the owner. :D Im a Piscean!

Dont get me wrong, I certainly believe that Planets do have an effect and influence on animals and can produce wildly different "personalities" (if you can call it that) in animals. What I am saying though, is their nature is dominated by the Sign they are ruled under. A ram will always act like a ram, it may have a different "personality" than the other rams, but it will still always act like a ram (head butting, shows of agression & etc.)

Thats if you believe that we are animals. Physically yes we share the same characteristics, however spiritually/psychologically/mentally is another question, and that question wont be answered for a few more thousand years and a few more thousand new religions. There is a definate separation between man and animal, the degree of separation is really the question. Some believe this separation to be quite far, some believe us to be simply animals because of our physicality, thats for the individual to decide. Right now we follow the religion of "Science", which promises to answer all our questions (as every religion before that one did), this religion places us right beside the animal. 500 years ago we believed in Christianity (well, the majority of europeans I should say), and it placed is beside God (a being (if I may call God that) that is higher than humans) and placed us on a hierarchy. So the change of thought and times has a great influence.

Well, animals and humans are both *creatures*, but yes there is a seperation between the two- but there are many who would argue on the behalf of all animals who are not *human* ;) (I believe to a certain extent animals are just as intelligent as humans, if not more so at times ); Billions of people world wide still believe in Christianity, including myself, so I'm confused as to why you are using the past tense of believe?
