Has anyone read Barbara Hand Clow's book, "Chiron - Rainbow Bridge Between the Inner & Outer Planets?" I'm reading it now, and it is a good book, but I'm stumped on something. On page 120 she writes about waxing and waning quintile aspects and how to tell the difference between the two. From the point of conjunction, "waxing" is moving toward the opposition. "Waning" is moving away from opposition toward the conjunction. I got that. But she says "Aspecting always moves clockwise." I stopped and read it over and over again. Aspects move clockwise? WTF? There is an illustration, Figure 20 on pg. 121 that apparently supports this. So...I'm not getting it. Anyone out there get what she's talking about and can explain it to me?

Sorry. Quite Right. Quincunx is what I meant.

I'm used to the planetary movements being counter-clockwise in their normal movements as they form aspects. So when BHC says "Aspecting always moves Clockwise," is she then referring to a more classical / traditional system that uses "dexter" and "sinister" aspects?

Can you refer me to a web page or book that describes this clockwise perspective more fully?

What drew my attention originally while reading BHC is that I have Uranus @ 4 deg Cancer quincunx Chiron @ 4 deg. Sag. and was looking to determine if it was applying an opposition or moving away. (waxing or waning)

Thanks for the help. :)
