Hello everyone,

I would like to say that I have been enjoying reading the posts. The site for karmic astrology was very interesting. I have of late been feeling a pull or a need to search for something more out of life, a more conectedness to the universe so to speak. I have this intense yearning to look for other explanations, alternate viewpoints I am not sure why this is I really do not understand much about astrology, but so far this is the direction I have been led. I do know that I am a taurus or as I like to say "super taurus because I have 4 planets in Taurus anyway if anyone has any insight as to why after all my years on this earth I am suddenly pulled toward this field of study, maybe it has something to do with my chart I don't know. By the way I was born May 13th, 1966 at 8:15Am in Cleveland Ohio. I am sure I might be able to figure it out after much study but patience is a virtue that I do not have an abundance of. I am attempting to learn some of the terms but the only nodes I understand are Lymphnodes. If any of you highyly insightful people could take the time to help me I would be very greatful.

Currently Jupiter is stationing at 18 Scorpio in conjunction with your natal Neptune. Stations of transiting planets (the time when their motion on the sky stops and then they go backwards) represent major influences and mark moment of change in life, if there're natal planets close to that degree.
So, Jupiter (=higher knowledge, the universal teacher) is conjunct your Neptune (=spirituality, evasion from the worldly constrictions, connexion with the soul of the universe,...) thus determining what you told.

Astrology is the way to go if you want to understand why something happens at a particular moment, it's a mental frame that helps you understand and accept the life changes, the invisible strings that attach us to the universe or to other people, the matrix beyond what is seen and generally accepted in our society.
There're many other systems of knowledge out there, yet none so well organized and explanative as astrology.

Following what Radu has already said, Jupiter is the planet associated with health; your ability to sustain it through 'healthy living' or the specialist that treats it when Jupiter's excessive side is more prominant. Your Jupiter in the 1st house of constitution squares Venus....excesses in love of /sweeetness towards....????...whatever that might be as compensation for something else. Its contact with Neptune is in the 6th house that is the realm of employment and/or physical complaints. As you mentioned lymphnodes, my thoughts would tend to go to the latter, in which Neptune could represent the physically unknown in Scorpio that gradually sneaks up on you until it actually manifests through Taurus, a very physical Earth sign.
In times of apparent crisis, thoughts of life's meaning always take precedence. Jupiter deals with excesses and you could now be realising that you are experiencing the result of this. Neptune rules your 10th house, your place/position in the world. Any problems arising in that area would make themselves felt in the 6th house....that is also the realm of working on/ taking care of one's self. Neptune there is actually yourself telling you, "If I disregard taking care of myself, I shall probably suffer the consequences of it through illness." This is not a fact that has to be; merely a predisposition that could occur if.
Jupiter is in a long-term contract with your Taurus stellium. Listen to, and take heed of the specialist's practical experience and put it into practice yourself.
Jupiter and Neptune are THE planets associated with belief and faith. Find and employ them within yourself, so that 'All will be well again'. As a loaded Taurus myself, I can vouch that it is possible to learn from one's mistakes and that there really is more than we can visibly see

Good luck.

Thank you Radu for the chart and the input. At least I know that there is an actual reason for this search.

Thank you for responding. I mentioned lymph nodes only because I am a nurse and as astrology is new to me those are truely the only nodes I am familar with. I must tell you that I have had a reoccurring injury to my ankle that for years I was ignoring only recently actually Jan 9th after many, many years of problems did I have the problem surgically corrected, I was listening to Neptune and the specialists finally.
So are we Super Taurus :D can you elaborate a little about what it means to be a loaded taurus.

You're a nurse! That explains the 6th/12th emphasis and Moon in Pisces. Phew! Thank goodness, no illness :)
I've also suffered for years with a right ankle problem. Kept going through it, as they say. Ankles are ruled by Aquarius, a sign on the fixed cross with Taurus. Taurus gets stuck into things,Aquarius prefers independence from chains. Where there is a difficulty in accepting the change Aquarius, via Uranus (or Saturn, traditionally) desires, its energy is felt through pain in the ankles...the weak spot..similar to the Achilles heel! I'm eventually dealing with mine as tr. Uranus has opposed my Chiron-Asc.

A loaded Taurus? Taurus is a builder. It lays the foundations( Earth) and plays safe based upon its perception of material substance. It's therefore practical, stable, dependable and reliable. The feet firmly on solid ground, which can make it appear dull to the other signs. As a fellow Taurean Sun, I can only state that 'assurance through appreciation' is what we require but it has to be physical. The thank-you via flowers, chocolates, the touch, the kiss, the slap on the shoulder, and we'll lay down our lives :) That is, until we are certain within ourselves about the course we take, that will be shown to us through our practical side, and no longer need the appreciation from other people. We shall always have to see it before we believe it, so to speak. The more planets in Taurus, the 'heavier' the load !

I'm not attempting to analyse your chart, but it IS interesting because you have a natural leaning towards forgetting/sacrificing yourself in favour of others; your Pisces Moon and your Sun conjunct NN in the 12th house opposing Neptune-SN. Maybe you have gone through situations when you have literally felt like a drudge and a left-to-clean-up-of-the-mess reality that have nothing to do with your nursing ability and have left you with the thoughts, "What's it all worth", "What's life all about?". This could make the physical 'appreciation' Taurus requires hard to find. But with Taurus Sun in the 12th conjunct NN, you may not be aware of just how appreciated you are by those in great need of you and your care, who totally rely on you 'Being there' for them; not with kind words or silent prayer, but in a physical way that empties the bed pans, cleans their noses, fluffs their pillows, reads them stories (and probably acts the parts as well ). Your gift is a wonderful one. Not many are capable of that self-sacrifice, and with it being in Taurus you have the ability to go on and on and on. Who else can people depend upon, if not the likes of you? You're a gem of the zodiac....topaz and emerald I believe :)
So, maybe the pain in your ankle was because you were unable to change some fantasy ideas you have about yourself (12th house)?. Once you go with the change you are feeling within you and have that clear picture, you are free of the chains that bound you to an old idea. I have found that Sun in 12th and to Neptune are always about finding faith in one's self. When that is there, spirit is boundless.

Glykeria,

You said:
I have 4 planets in Taurus...

You may already be aware of this, but you have 3 planets in Taurus and the North node in Taurus. The North node is not a planet, it is a calculated point from the Moon's position.

Correcting,

Tim
