Since it is apparent from your synastry chart that you and your friend were born around the same time, I would not consider the conjunctions between the same transpersonal planets as signficant as those between astrological bodies with faster orbits. With this said, I am particularly interested in the following "hits":

Your friend's Venus conjunct your Saturn
Your friend's Moon conjunct your Mars
Your friend's Sun conjunct your Pluto

There's a lot going in Libra there, so I may have missed some other important points...these are simply the conjunctions that first captured my attention.

I will leave the interpreation aspect of this synastry chart to those who more experienced, since I do not wish to lead you astray with a bad reading :wink:

Lynn - I progressed you chart to Septemner 2003 when you had Venus in an exact conjunction with your Sun at your midheaven and you had Moon exactly opposing Ceres from the 5th house to the 11th. Did your relationship happen to start at this time? Your friend at the same time had his Venus exactly conjuncting Jupiter and the Moon conjuncting the cusp of his 7th house. His moon trines Chiron and sextiles the Venus/Jupiter. If this is when you met, I would think you fell for each in a big way. Lots of feeling like you were each other's caretakers.

Right now your partner is just completing his progressed moon conjunct Saturn and Pluto in 7 close to the cusp of 8 in Libra. Serious questions about the meaning of this relationship perhaps. His Sun is also in the same degree as Jupiter..just separating in the 8th house waiting for Mercury to hit the Sun next.

Speaking of Saturn, I find it interesting that you both have only 1 degree apart but looking at the Sabian meanings it could be worlds apart. Your Sabian is 25 Libra and conjunct your midheaven and it reads:

Given the closeness of birthdate, synystry won't tell us as much as a composite or Davison chart about the relationship dynamics.

Looking at the Davison chart the first thing I notice is unaspected Chiron in the 10th house. Do you both feel likes it you two against the world? You have Jupiter conjuncting the IC or 4th house cusp of your shared home - if you live together. It also conjunct Pallas..all in Scorpio. Perhaps your partner wants to live together for Scorpio activities. Pallas there can provide an ability to repattern your home life so it's more than you had separately.

You have some easy sextiles from your stellium in 3 to your Mars Neptune in 5. This seems like a harmonius relationship that is asking you to develop your individual selves and creative expressions.

I can't tell you how long the relationship will last. It has it's own validity and purpose as i've done my best to express here. I see originality and nurturing in your 4th house of shared home if you live or are thinking about living together with Uranus in Sag trine part of foturne and Ceres trine the ascendant. In six months your couple's progressed Moon will conjunct Pluto and Saturn in your 2nd house of value, possestions, resources. It's weird because the date I actually remember falling for him was mid July 2004. Maybe it happened in 2003, like you said, but I don't think I was yet aware. Each other's caretakers - in a way, yes..

I'm not sure if I have felt like it was both of us against the world. We never really had a sort of solid romantic relationship. I met him when I was 15, and we had always been friends, nothing more, really.

We don't live together, never did.

You reckon we were together in past lives? Maybe that's why I always knew he was my soulmate.

The relationship is harmonious, when we were friends.. But it got tricky at the mere mention of something more though.. lots of lies and deception. And those didn't come from me!

Yeah that could have been related to the Mars/Neptune conunction in the 5th house although it wasn't too tight of a conjunction. The tighter it is the harder to express sexuality in a direct manner. Neptune can diver the ego drives inherant in Mars and send them into a platonic expression.

I should also add that in the unprogressed chart Neptune rules an empty 8th house. That pleacement should take priority over the progressed chart. There's a 5 degree orb in the Mars/Neptune conjunction. Pluto is transiting your Davison Neptune right now, since December. It Pluto on Mars last couple years. This could produce feelings that gravitate from sexual to non-sexual.

What type of ebergy complements a strong uranus one? Or do those with strong uranus energy not be able to stay with partners for long?
