I was just playing around with some of the Online Tools on the Astrology Weekly (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/) main site and rediscovered the Chakra System Diagram (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/astrology-articles/chakra-system-diagram.php). Here is my chart:

http://img478.imageshack.us/img478/4456/chakrasystemdiagram5aj.png (http://imageshack.us)

That's an awful lot planets in the Visshuda Chakra...and all the remaining planets are located in the Manipura Chakra! Does anyone have any idea what this may mean? Are there any websites I could utilize in order to explore this further?

EDIT: In my quest for information, I discovered that Samadhi Yoga for All (http://www.lotussunmoon.com/chakras/chakraindex.html) is a great introductory site about chakras...it's easy to understand and has useful charts detailing the location, depiction, element, sense, color, and matra that is associated with each chakra.

Here's what it says about the Vishuddha Chakra for those who are interested:

Fifth Chakra
Vishuddha "Pure"

The fifth chakra is about faith in others and our own higher Self. It gives us the ability to follow the guidance of our Self, to submit to the will and guidance of the Cosmic Consciousness. We overcome the fear of losing our physical satisfactions and gratifications. It is the gateway of the dissolution of the individual self with the Source. The purification center of choice where the sacred truth is Surrender Personal Will to Divine Will.

Organs and Glands:

Throat, trachea, esophagus
Neck vertebrae, cervical spine
Mouth, teeth and gums
Thyroid - growth, temperature control, energy production and carbohydrate and fat metabolism, also intellectual development in babies.
Parathyroid - four glands metabolize calcium for bone, and tooth health, muscles and heart muscle. Helps metabolize Vitamin D, affects kidney and gastrointestinal tract.
Hypothalamus
Skeletal system
Carotid plexus - main blood flow to brain
Skin

Mental/Emotional Issues:

Communications by sound, vibration, telepathy
Faith
Self-knowledge
Capacity to make decisions
Choice and strength of will
Personal power of creativity
Vocation
Truth, integrity
Channeling knowledge from above
Doorway to telepathy

Turquoise is the color associated with this chakra...I guess that explains my fascination with it!

Hi

First notice how all personal planets are located in the right side of the chakra diagram - the emissive side - meaning that you are set in "giving" mode, you give out a lot more than you receive on the 'human', regular level of life, but as the outer planets are on the left, receptive side - you are listening to the spiritual energies.

Starting with Manipura, the solar plexus chakra, notice that it is 'activated' by Pluto, Mars and Jupiter - masculine planets, giving you a lot of personal power, will, self confidence.
Pluto on the receptive side may mean that you are receptive to Plutonian energies, you don't get scared easily, you actually like and need on the edge situations. Spiritually, it may mean that you accept what happens to you as a part of God's will (=Pluto).
Mars and Jupiter on the right side of the solar plexus chakra represent the energy, life, optimism, joy to live that you project in the outer world, you have the power to influence the people out there in this direction, or in any other way you want.

Going to Visshuda, notice Saturn, Uranus and Neptune on the receptive side. Uranus and Neptune open up channels for you to feel genial ideas (Uranus) and noble, spiritual feelings (Neptune), but Saturn restricts, blocks, structures them so you will need a step by step approach, allowing you to grow slowly in understanding and integrating them. Since this is the chakra of verbal (and non-verbal) communication
Saturn here may bring up difficult communication issues, mainly in reception.
The bunch of planets on the right side may give you a nice pleasant voice (Moon and Venus here; is it really so? :) ), it also makes you a real communicator, with lots of things you want to say to people, Gemini-style. Venus also makes you express yourself nicely...
The Sun here means that your personality is best expressed by talking and communicating with others. Listening them is not that important, though (remember Saturn on the left side, you're not a good listener).
Mercury here helps your intuition in that if you need an intuitive information it is fairly easy to get it, but this refers only to that chunck of information, not to a bunch of whole other additional info to come along with it. It's like - you ask for sth, you get that little sth.
On the other hand, Mercury here is very talkative...

***

My personal opinion is that the your quote is wrong, mixing up characteristics of various chakras.
My knowledge of chakras can be summarized like this:
Root chakra - Muladhara - grounding in the material world, money
Sex chakra - Swadisthana - sex and social interactions
Solar chakra - Manipura - self confidence and personal power
Heart chakra - Anahata - love
Throat chakra - Visshuda - communication and intuition
Forehead chakra - Ajna - understanding and mind processes (includes telepathy)
Crown chakra - Sahasrara - relationship with the Divine

First of all, thanks for the great interpretation, Radu! :D

First notice how all personal planets are located in the right side of the chakra diagram - the emissive side - meaning that you are set in "giving" mode, you give out a lot more than you receive on the 'human', regular level of life, but as the outer planets are on the left, receptive side - you are listening to the spiritual energies.

Wait...are you reading the Chakra diagram from the perspective of actually being in that person's place? I am slightly confused with the entire my-right-hand-is-located-on-your-left-side idea :?

Starting with Manipura, the solar plexus chakra, notice that it is 'activated' by Pluto, Mars and Jupiter - masculine planets, giving you a lot of personal power, will, self confidence.

I was a bit startled at first when I noticed that my Aries and Gemini planets seemed to "swap chakras," in the sense that Aries seems better associated with the Manupura than the Visshuda Chakra. It's this similar to mutual reception in astrology?

Pluto on the receptive side may mean that you are receptive to Plutonian energies, you don't get scared easily, you actually like and need on the edge situations. Spiritually, it may mean that you accept what happens to you as a part of God's will (=Pluto).

I've always identified myself with the Plutonian energies, which is why I wasn't suprised when I discovered Pluto was the apex planet of one of my yods. This chart placement also makes sense to me because Pluto is the most elevated planet in my natal chart and is almost singular in the upper hemisphere.

Mars and Jupiter on the right side of the solar plexus chakra represent the energy, life, optimism, joy to live that you project in the outer world, you have the power to influence the people out there in this direction, or in any other way you want.

Ah, perhaps we have found the source of my bubbly personalitity

Going to Visshuda, notice Saturn, Uranus and Neptune on the receptive side. Uranus and Neptune open up channels for you to feel genial ideas (Uranus) and noble, spiritual feelings (Neptune), but Saturn restricts, blocks, structures them so you will need a step by step approach, allowing you to grow slowly in understanding and integrating them. Yes, this is all very much true...

The bunch of planets on the right side may give you a nice pleasant voice (Moon and Venus here; is it really so? ), it also makes you a real communicator, with lots of things you want to say to people, Gemini-style. Venus also makes you express yourself nicely...

I'm definately a real communicator who always has something to say, but as far as the timbre of my voice...I've never really thought about it, since I've always considered myself more of an instrumental musician that a vocalist. Even when I'm immersed in conversation, my mind is usually busy organizing ideas and deciding what I should say next rather than appreciating the sound of my own voice.

The Sun here means that your personality is best expressed by talking and communicating with others. Listening them is not that important, though (remember Saturn on the left side, you're not a good listener).

I believe the retiring nature of my Balsamic Moon helps me with this innate weakness, although I admit that I am naturally inclined to talk more than I listen. I'm trying to correct this, though

Mercury here helps your intuition in that if you need an intuitive information it is fairly easy to get it, but this refers only to that chunck of information, not to a bunch of whole other additional info to come along with it. It's like - you ask for sth, you get that little sth.

I'm not exactly sure if I understand this... :?

On the other hand, Mercury here is very talkative...

So, you've just noticed?

Yes, the diagram actually displays the energetic you standing in front of us, looking at us, smiling and waving :)

I'm not very sure what you mean, but please know that this whole thing has nothing to do with zodiac signs, it's all the relative position of planets to the nodal axis. More complex astrology software (such as Janus) allow this type of calculation, labeled as North Node on the MC equal houses chart.

I'm not exactly sure if I can explain it properly either. I'll give my own example: Neptune on right-side of Visshuda allows me to get intuitive feelings of spiritual things - but only in small flashes, controlled, as I request them. I never had whole visions of psychic nature - that would come over me, in an uncontrolled way - that would possibly happen if Neptune was on the left-side (receptive) of the same chakra Visshuda.

The same with your Mercury - only that it refers to ideas, mental processes. Mercury on the left-side would allow automated psychic writing for instance. In your case, ideas just come along as you ask for them.[/i]

I think I understand what happened now...since my natal chart is composed of several "clumps" of planets within the same sign (ex. Sun/Moon/Mercur/Venus in Aries, Saturn/Uranus/Neptune in Capricorn, and Mars/Jupiter in Gemini), I originally thought that this was how they were assigned chakras. Therefore, I was surprised that Mars and Jupiter in Gemini instead of Sun/Moon/Mercury/Venus in Aries would give me "a lot of personal power, will, self confidence." That's what I meant by mutual reception...but obviously, it doesn't apply :)

I have Neptune on the receptive side of this chakra, but I don't think I've ever had a psychic vision :?

I've been able to do automatic before, though...

P.S. I can't wait until this Mercury Retrograde is over
