Is there anything significant about this aspect or is it unnoticeable?

In her book "The Art of Predictive Astrology", Carol Rushman argues strongly that the progressed moon pin-points events and determines the cycle of emotional needs - claiming :-

"..nothing ever happens in a person's life without a progressed moon aspect. It may be 3 degrees applying or leaving, but its effects will be felt".

I cannot confirm/refute that from experience, but the sign/house position of the progressed moon does seem to set the tone for the people/events that we attract into our lives - and temporary changes in our habits/interests.

So, I'd expect a trine to natal sun to bring to the fore some kind of talent or favourable change in the individual's circumstances.

The effect of progressed moon aspects and sign/house transits is incredibly real, in my experience. If I look at the date for any of my life's most significant moments, meetings, decisions, as well as crises in part caused by me, I invariably find progressed moon conjunct a planet or entering a sign.

I must add that all these very exact correlations occur regarding moments in which I had an active role.

Also, moments where I made a weak decision, a 'wrong choice' that changed the course of my life for the worse, are related to moon departing from a dominant sign in my chart. At once frightening and comforting - an inevitable spell of weakness. I wonder if these things could have turned out differently if I had known what was going on. I doubt it actually - the decisions answered to the call of changing reality.

Right now my progressed moon is trine my natal Sun. I am being utterly forced to step out of my self-protective isolation and sing... I am forced to step into the light by the stark realization that, outside of the light, there is only oblivion.

(6) Note transits of the planet ruling the sign of the progressed moon
