Career fork-in-the-road

[5th house moon]

Hi

I'm new to this form of astrology and find it fascinating. Thanks to Radu for your instructions on how to post. I'm having a career dilemma and would like to give it a shot:

Time question thought: 1.46PM, Sydney Australia. Mon 6 March.

My dilemma is this: I have two possible career routes to pursue. One is within the media, the other is within the music industry. Not sure which would be the best endeavour.

I'd appreciate your help.

I got ASC=12Ge02
ASC in double sign, Moon in double sign and ruler of ASC and in double sign! This is really a big dilema! From the start Ge ASC is better for media than for music, except if you plan to write tekst for songs, then Me rx and Moon in 12H will be excelent! All Moon's aspects are negative, so do not decide now which route to pursue untill Me goes direct!

I have attempted to create the horary chart utilizing the Regiomontanus House System and with 50% of the default Astrodienst (http://www.astro.com/) orb settings...hopefully I did this right :?

P.S. Would it be possible for me to ask a horary question about my future career although it's not yet a major concern? For the longest time I was also interested in pursuing a career in music since I have shown a strong aptitude in my instrumental studies, but I doubt I could survive the competitive demands of the industry :(

It's 5:03 as I type this...I can create my own horary chart if someone believes they may be able to garner some information from it :wink:

Thanks for your help on this one. I am still trying to get my head around horary astrology.

I will defer my decision until the moon goes direct! Interesting about the song writing....that's one element of the career path in music I'd be pursuing! And since Mercury has been ij Pisces, the songs are coming thick and fast (even in my sleep).

Song writing is a wonderful gift, 5th house moon! I can't create my own music, I only play what other people have written...but I wish I could :wink:

Like you, I'm completely new at horary and have no idea how to apply and utilize it yet...hopefully, we can learn together! :mrgreen:

No, not yet...fortunately, I wrote down the time I thought of the question in my last post. Would it be OK if I posted the chart here, or should I create another board?

Our very popular singer in SCG, Bajaga, has this position of Me in 10th house in Pisces and Moon conjuct Ne in 5H! He wrote excelent texts for his songs!

What sign is on cusp of 10th in your natal chart?

That's really interesting.

Natally, my Moon is conjunct Neptune in the 5th (in Sag), I have Pisces on the 9th house cusp, Me in Cap in 7th and Aries on the MC.

Probably you have Can on ASC? If it is so, than Moon and Ne in 5H is excelent for music! But if you have Ge on ASC than your position of Me is better for media (some job infront of public). Also, look at the ruler of your 10th house and its placement because it also describe job that you wil do.

Thanks so much for your help on this. Yep, it's Cancer on the ascendant and the ruler of my 10th is Mars, which is in Libra in the 4th (not square...too wide an orb). Do you know what sort of careers that placement could indicate?

That is definately some creativ job (Moon and Ne in 5H) that you can work at your home (ruler of 10H in artistic Libra in 4H). So, writing lyrics or compose songs will be fine.
